And I ask all families to pray the Rosary together at least once a week,” he said.He also asked Catholics in his diocese to do penance on every Friday of the year.“I ask every Catholic in the Archdiocese of San Francisco to dedicate Friday as a day of penance in honor of the day that our Lord died for us, selecting one concrete form of bodily fasting to observe on this day, whether that be abstaining from meat or another type of food or from some type of drink they normally enjoy, or omitting a meal altogether,” he said.Finally, he asked Catholics to honor Our Lady’s request by praying before God in adoration once a week.“I ask every Catholic in the Archdiocese of San Francisco to dedicate some time each week to pray before the Blessed Sacrament. If it is not possible during the week, take some time before or after Sunday Mass to pray on your knees before our Lord present in the tabernacle. The Muslim man puled out a large knife and stabbed the bishop repeatedly in the torso and the neck, then drew crosses on himself with the bishop's blood before fleeing but was later caught and arrested according to a recent report:<blockquote>Coptic Orthodox bishop from Upper Egypt was slain outside Cairo, Egypt yesterday.The assailant struck Bishop Samaan Shehata in the head, neck and torso with a machete in the El Salam area near El Marg District on the outskirts of Cairo, according to local reports. Shehata was born in 1972.While a security spokesman said the suspect, Ahmed Saeed Ibrahim, was mentally ill, neighbors reportedly denied this, saying he was a Muslim who had been “radicalized” a year ago. Since then, they said, Ibrahim had begun praying in the street, shouting loudly and calling Christians infidels.The suspect walked calmly out of the warehouse after killing Shehata, according to security camera footage. Captured by people on the street and now in custody, Ibrahim had reportedly approached Shehata wielding the large knife while the bishop was waiting for another clergyman in his car.Visiting from his Church of St. Julius Akfazi in Ezbet Girgis village, in Beni Suef Governorate, Shehata was waiting for another priest, the Rev. Beimen Moftah, when Ibrahim accosted him and attacked him, eyewitnesses told local press. Reports conflicted on whether Moftah, of the Church of the Arch Angel Malak in Ezbet Francis, Mattay village, was injured, but he did reportedly confront the assailant.Stabbed in the neck and torso near the Virgin and Bishop Shenouda El Daeiry church, the wounded Shehata fled on foot into the warehouse, according to security camera footage obtained by El Youm el Sabe News agency, which shows the assailant following with the machete.Police said eyewitnesses reported that the assailant had seen Shehata in his car, forcibly stopped him, ordered him out and then started to stab him in the neck and torso. Shehata fled, and the attacker followed him into the warehouse and finished his attack there with several blows to the head, they said.Shehata’s driver, identified as Gerges Kamel, reportedly said the bishop had gotten out of the car to retrieve his cell phone at the warehouse when the assailant stopped him and stabbed him in the side, neck and skull. Kamel said the assailant used the bishop’s blood to form a cross on his forehead, according to a local newspaper.An ambulance didn’t arrive until 90 minutes after the assault, according to Kamel, who added that the bishop was alive for half an hour after being struck and could have been saved if the ambulance had arrived timely.He denied that the suspect was mentally ill.Local press reported that the suspect was 19 years old and had joined a Salafi jihadist group three months prior. After his arrest, Ibrahim reportedly claimed that he was mentally ill and suffered from epileptic seizures. A piece of paper was reportedly found in his pocket saying, “the mission is done successfully.”A preliminary autopsy reportedly showed the cause of death to be blows to the head with a long knife (machete), causing a longitudinal deep crack in the skull and internal bleeding in the abdomen.Area residents said on social media that the suspect was known for insulting numerous Christians, picking fights with them and assaulting them. Christians made several complaints to police, which were largely ignored, according to local reports.Shehata had reportedly worked for years to obtain a permit to construct a church building for his parishioners, who otherwise met in a small room of an association building, with most of the worshippers standing in the street. Recently the bishop found a 1,000-square-meter site on which to build, and he was reportedly in Cairo to collect donations for the building. Local press reported that residents had filed 18 police statements objecting to his church building plans.Sheikh Abbas Shooman, dean of preeminent Islamic authority Al-Azhar University in Cairo, denounced the attack on Shehata, writing on Facebook, “An assault that religions reject…the treacherous attack on bishop Samaan Shehata, priest of the Church of St. Julius Akfazi in the village of Ezbet Girgis in the province of Beni Sueif, an attack rejected by the law of heaven and above all our religion.”Ordained a priest in 1999 and promoted to bishop in 2001, Shehata served at Church of St. Julius Akfazi. It is an example of pure evil that has no place in any society, and it must be exterminated.However, is it really different from what goes on in the West?Anybody will tell you that people in Western societies do not run around, generally speaking, cutting people's heads off and drinking their blood as crowds in the streets cheer them on. This is something that you would see in Africa or parts of southern Asia, and maybe even in parts of Central or South America. However, the essence of the evil that takes place in those societies also takes place in the West. The difference, as stated above, is how manifestly visible the evil is to the public. In Africa and parts of Asia or the Americas, the evil is IN YOUR FACE, blood-and-guts in the streets visible, like out of a horror film. It is uncontrolled, almost thoughtless, and unrefined in how it is executed. Anybody knows this is wrong.America and Europe, along with parts of Asia are different from these nations not in the essence of the evil, but in how the execute it. The same absolute denial of human life, torture, and terrible mistreatment of the innocent takes place here just as over there, except that it is not visible to the immediate public, it is highly controlled in how it is implemented, it is carefully planned and thought through, and it is "refined" in the method by which it is executed. By taking away the disorder and open carnage, the same horrible results are realized without any of the natural revulsion that would come with it.The closest example of "African-style" violence that takes place in America and Europe is the slaughter of babies at the wishes of their mothers and fathers through abortion. There is no way to hide the fact that abortion murders an innocent, helpless baby by ripping/burning/chopping it while it is alive. If the baby is in the earliest stages, such as the first few weeks, it is very hard to see this, but it becomes apparent after the first trimester just by looking at the dead child's remains that abortion is an act of heinous murder. This is likewise the reason why all of the Murder-loving infanticide supporters will NEVER show what abortion looks like, and instead attempt to misdirect people by shouting them down that it is a 'women's rights issue' or 'you hate women,' because they either do not want people to know or do not want to admit to themselves and as such choose to lie to themselves that abortion is the modern form of infant sacrifice that was practiced in the ancient world.But, abortion, without attempting to take away the extremely serious nature of this crime, is not just the only heinous sin in our society. As we have pointed out, aborted babies are to major industrial and government bodies controlled by billionaire elites in Silicon Valley and the financial sector what crude oil is to the industrialist of the 19th century, for it is from the bodies of these murdered children that much of the "scientific progress" that is so often touted in the public for being such a source of pride is build upon. The only difference is the African man's evil is executed in a simple, crude, and obvious way, while the European man's evil is done in a 'neat,' 'fashionable,' and 'respectable' way. The essence is no different, and one might even go so far as to say the European man's evil has to be more heavily judged than the African's because he is doing the same thing the African is doing, except he is carefully using his intellect in a way that the African clearly is not as evidenced by his actions. Again, this would not be because of a difference in the nature of the evils, but due to the fact of how the evils manifest.Likewise, make no mistake too that Europeans cannot commit great acts of evil. The first and second world wars come to mind immediately. However, there are also men who commit the same types of crimes as did the African pagans in this story. The disturbing case of Roch Thierault is one such example. This man, who was an apostate Catholic turned Seventh-Day-Adventist cult leader in Canada, started a cult that made what Charles Manson and the Manson family did appear somewhat tame. Thierault operated a cult called the Ant Hill Kids where he acted as supreme leader and tormenter of his nine "wives" and the numerous children he bore with them. Theriault would beat them with hammers, hang them from ceilings and pluck out their hairs one by one, and defecate on them as part of their "punishments" for disobedience. Theriault also one time murdered one of them by giving her an enema with molasses and then splitting her abdomen open while she was still alive and ripping her organs out before drilling a hole in her skull and forcing his male sons to masturbate into the hole of their dead sister: Evil is not confined to any race, culture, or place, just as grace is not confined to and race, culture or place. What confuses many people is the way in which the evil manifests, because among certain groups of people it tends to be more obvious than among others. However, that does not diminish the potency- it just means that it is in a different form. A "Jell-o" mold above. When you make Jell-o, you can pour it into a bowl and let it set, or you can put it into pans with different shapes so that when it is finally set, it will assume the form of the mold. Regardless of what mold you use, the actual essence of the material does not change- "cherry flavored jell-o" does not become orange flavored because it is in a star-shaped mold instead of a common bowl. The shape changes, but the essence does not.The same can be said about people. How evil manifests varies by culture, but the essence of it does not.This problem with evil can also be seen today in the contemporary "conservative" movement. The recent advertisement puts forth job opportunities for car mechanic, laborer, in charge of maintenance and cleaners. It is time to put an end to this discriminatory practice not only in social relations but also in state institutions and structures. The regional government of Sindh should also follow the disposition to reserve religious minorities 5% of the state seats available, in every order and degree, but it does not”.Religious minorities are troubled by the religion based discrimination, on the other hand most of them refer to famous speech delivered by founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam who ensured equal rights to religious minorities in Pakistan.Speaking on August 11, 1947 Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah declared in the Assembly that: “We are all citizens of the same State. We should keep this principle before us as our ideal. So one will discover that over the years Hindus will cease to be Hindu and Muslims will cease to be Muslims, not in the religious sense, because this is the personal faith of every individual, but in the political sense as citizens of the State”.In a bid to ensure equal rights for non-Muslim Pakistanis, the civil society, social activists, rights campaigners and others are urging Pakistani government to bring about reforms in the constitution so as to curb religion based discrimination and prejudice hurled at the religious minorities. Arsalan was at the center when seven policemen from the Bahu Chowk Police Post arrived at about 5 p.m. in their official vehicle and stormed the premises, Masih told Morning Star News.“Arsalan was attending his tuition classes at the Ideal Science Academy when Head Constable Imtiaz, Driver Rashid, Constable Arshad and some other unidentified policemen kicked open the door and dragged him out of the classroom,” Masih said. “Sardar, alias Billu, a police constable, helped them to identify the boy. With this, they all started beating Arsalan with fists, kicks and rifle butts.”Teacher Farhan Ali tried to stop the assault, but the officers shoved and slapped him and continued beating the boy, Masih said.“Rashid struck Arsalan’s head with a pistol, and he started bleeding,” he said. “When they bundled him into the police van, Arsalan collapsed and died.
