Paweł Rytel-Andrianik, spokesman for the Polish Bishops' Conference, stated. "This was an initiative started by lay people, which makes it even more extraordinary. Millions of people prayed the rosary together. This exceeded the boldest expectations of the organizers."Rytel-Andrianik called it the second-largest prayer event in Europe after the 2016 World Youth Day.Prime Minister Beata Szydlo tweeted an image of rosary beads with a crucifix and sent greetings to all the participants.Halina Kotarska, a 65-year-old participant, was quoted as saying, "Islam wants to destroy Europe. They want to turn us away from Christianity."Krzysztof Januszewski, another participant, stated: "In the past, there were raids by sultans and Turks and people of other faiths against us Christians. Today Islam is flooding us and we are afraid of this too. With the concept of "change" or "progress" worshipped as a veritable idol in society, America has turned itself into a near rootless society lacking any sort of identity that changes with the whims of each generation. However, for most peoples around the world, this is not the case at all. People have very long "historical memories," and grudges held centuries ago or conflict that have endured since the time of antiquity can and still do resurface given the right conditions.For example, it was 16 year ago that September 11th, 2001 took place. Yet look within that 16 years how much has changed in terms of how people view the attack. As far as it is concerned for the general public, the sentiment has moved from "America was attacked by Muslim terrorists" to people going so far as to even defend Islam publicly and with more vigor than before, and have Islam accepted more by the greater society.Now as we have said before and it is always worth saying again, the situation with Islam today was created by the governments of the world not in that the nature of Islam itself has changed- the evil theological principles upon which it was revealed were, are, and will remain consistent since they are a part of what Islam considers to be divinely revealed truth- but that the already present tendencies of Islam have been encouraged, nurtured, and protected for the purpose of political upheavals. This has happened in every country around the world today in some level (including Poland, as we have pointed out), but America is a particular issue because lacking a sense of the past, we do not have a clear vision for our future, and as such we live consistently in the present, forgetting what was behind and unsure of what lies ahead. Hence, the reason why ideas not just such as Islam, but many others are able to take root and spread into society, and later disappear as though they never even existed there to begin with.Poland is a nation that is very Catholic, and the Catholic Faith is what has kept that nation from being completely annihilated by the Germans, the Russians, the Austrians, and the Turks throughout the centuries. Were it not for the Faith, they would have ceased to exist both as a people and a nation, and given their geographic location they would likely have been divided up and completely controlled in perpetuity by the Austrians, Germans, and Russians, as they were for 150 years of their history.While there are many people in Poland who have left the Faith and given into the new National Socialist rhetoric sweeping across Europe and the world today, the core Catholic identity of that nation is what still holds it together, and as many of these people are aware of based on their history, they have a real reason to be concerned with their German and Russian neighbors. Germany today is of particular concern because based on the rhetoric coming out of them, their support of populism and nationalism, and the events of the last century, Poland already sees what is coming in her future- she is likely going to be invaded and beaten up in the same manner that Germany did last century, except this time in a war likely involving nuclear weapons. Given the invitation and importation of hundreds of thousands of Muslims into Europe, there is the added threat of Islamic invasion regardless of how war with Germany begins or ends- indeed, hundreds of thousands of people in any location near any nations' borders means they will inevitably attempt to spread into Poland simply due to geographic proximity. Given that Poland was involved with wars against the Ottomans for centuries and that it was due to Polish armies that marched to the Gates of Vienna and stopped the Ottoman siege of Vienna, she understands in a particular way the threat they pose to Europe and Poland.But national socialism and Islam aside, her example of gathering as a nation to pray the Rosary and seek the mercy of God for assistance in a time of great trouble is an example for Christians throughout the world. Individual prayers and rosaries are very good and necessary, and the more of them gathered together the better. Indeed, when a man prays the Rosary, it is the second most powerful form of prayer only surpassed by the holy sacrifice of the mass. Likewise, one must also pray as well as lead a righteous life, for faith without works in indeed dead, and indeed when one prays, one must seek to do the will of God, for nothing else matters. Likewise, as we have mentioned, we must be sure to pray for what is righteous, especially because remember it was Germany who famously said for centuries <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gott_mit_uns">Gott mit uns</a>, when nothing else could have been further from the truth. Since National Socialism is coming back, one must be absolutely careful not to pray for that which is evil.Nevertheless, the fact that one million Catholics gathered to pray the rosary for their nation certainly means something. Even if Poland is invaded by her German neighbor, the fact that there are still enough people there who love God and His Church and are willing to make a public showing of their love means something, and certainly their prayers will not go unheard.If only America would take a lesson from this.

This merciless crime was reported on by<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/sep/12/family-members-lincolnshire-jailed-chilling-slavery-case-rooney"> the Guardian</a>:<blockquote>Eleven members of a Lincolnshire family have been jailed for violently exploiting at least 18 victims of modern slavery in offences described as “chilling in their mercilessness”.The Rooney family, who were based on Traveller sites in Lincoln, <a class="u-underline" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/aug/11/uk-family-found-guilty-of-enslaving-homeless-and-disabled-people" data-link-name="in body link">targeted homeless people and men with learning disabilities</a> to work and live in squalid conditions for up to 26 years.The victims were kept in caravans without running water or toilet facilities, Nottingham crown court heard, while their captors wore Rolex watches, drove expensive cars and lived in gleaming homes that were “palatial in comparison” with their workers’ conditions.The judge, Timothy Spencer QC, said the difference in their lives was “akin to the gulf between medieval royalty and the peasantry” as he jailed 11 members of the family for up to 15 years on Tuesday.Martin Rooney Sr, 58, the head of the family, was jailed for 10 years and nine months, for orchestrating what the judge described as a “criminal culture” at Drinsey Nook, the Traveller site where they were based.His twin sons, John and Patrick Rooney, 32, were both sentenced to 15 years in prison. The judge said the pair were “clearly the most culpable” of those in the dock as their father was not leading the operation when police swooped. A further eight of their relatives were handed jail terms of up to seven years.A series of trials heard how the Rooneys targeted men who were homeless, alcoholic or with mental health problems, often picking them off the streets outside hostels or night shelters. Their victims, who were aged between 18 and 63, were lured with promises of work, money, shelter and food, the court heard.Once taken to Drinsey Nook, they were put up in “broken-down, ill-equipped and dirty” caravans without running water, heating or toilet facilities. Then they were put to work laying tarmacked drives, “dawn to dusk, seven days a week in all weather” and usually without a break, and only rarely were they provided food or drink, the judge said.“Sometimes payment was not monetary but by cheap cider which promoted a dependency upon alcohol, which provided another means of control over them,” Spencer added.<div class="content__article-body from-content-api js-article__body" data-test-id="article-review-body">Their victims lived in constant fear of violence, the court was told. One man, who was exploited by the family for at least 12 years, was brutally beaten by a “Rooney lynch mob” when a car he was driving ran out of petrol. By the time they were arrested, the family had plundered £36,000 worth of this man’s income support and disability living allowance.Spencer told the Rooneys: “Your victims had reached a position where they were cowed into submission. Any resistance, they knew, was futile. It would have been met by you recruiting other family members and delivering more violence.“You knew they would offer no resistance at all – nor did they. These offences are chilling in their mercilessness.”Detectives said the Rooneys were living a life of luxury in stark contrast to the squalor of their victims. They enjoyed holidays to Barbados, Australia, Egypt and Mexico and lived in “immaculate, gleaming homes” while Patrick and John Rooney were coached at Manchester United football school.“This was all funded on the back of the forced labour of your victims,” said the judge, “whilst your workers’ only solace was cheap cider and for some a packet of tobacco, consumed in squalid surroundings.”Ch Supt Chris Davison, head of crime at Lincolnshire police, said: “We will not rest on this result as there are potentially other victims of modern slavery in our county. We are exploring five active investigations and we will continue to put any victims at the very heart of our investigations.“The severity of these crimes is underlined by the sentences imposed by the judge. Rosalyn, who has spoken out about the crime and waived her right to anonymity, claims she was held hostage for 19 years before she managed to escape to the US embassy. She says she was beaten with baseball bats, stabbed, choked unconscious and repeatedly raped after being kidnapped from her school in Poteau, Oklahoma, in 1997. While being held hostage she gave birth to nine children. ‘I knew that if I didn’t get out of there I’d either go insane or I would end up dying and leaving my kids with that man,’ she told People magazine. At first she would beg for money and food on the streets, but she started selling coffee, honey and homemade ice cream to help support her family.One day in June 2016, she grabbed the little money she had managed to earn and took a taxi to Oaxaca City with her kids. I guess destiny brought me here. I can do it. I can do anything.”Last year, the UK granted 18,950 overseas domestic worker visas to people like Anne, so they could accompany wealthy families to the UK. These workers are mostly women, and the largest number are originally from the Philippines, followed by Indians and Indonesians.  Anne did not plan for her life to turn out like this. When she left the Philippines to work for a family living in Saudi Arabia, her contact promised a well-paid job as a midwife.But when she arrived in Riyadh in 2015, her employers confiscated her passport and forced her into domestic servitude. She was paid 1,400 dirhams (£300) a month, which she sent back to her family in the Philippines. She says she was not allowed to leave the house and had no day off.“I was an animal to them,” she said. “I could only eat the children’s leftovers, so I was always hungry, and madam always shouted at me.“Every time I tried to sleep, I had pain in my arms from working too much, so I would cry. And there were cameras all around the house watching me.”When the family brought Anne with them to London, her situation got even worse. “My madam made me work 24-hour shifts sometimes, and my feet were so heavy because I never sat down,” she said. “In the daytime she would take us shopping with the family, as their slaves. I was a donkey, just following them, carrying bags.”After she arrived in Britain, Anne’s father in the Philippines was diagnosed with a serious illness. “Even though they knew I needed money for my family, they wouldn’t pay me. I begged my madam, but while we were in London she just stopped giving me my salary.”Anne became desperate. Then one day, her employers went out shopping, and dropped her in a Hyde Park playground to look after the children.While the children were playing, a woman walked over and handed her a card. It had a phone number on it. A few days later, Anne’s father died, and she plucked up the courage to call it. On the other end of the line was Marissa Begonia, co-founder of Justice For Domestic Workers, the woman who had handed Anne the business card......Eventually, Anne emerged from a glass door, carrying two plastic bags, eyes darting around nervously. Marissa and Mary took her hand, and hurried across the nearby bridge. Terrified of being seen, Anne wrapped Marissa’s scarf around her head.They jumped on the first bus that appeared to secure their getaway. “Someone came to save me and I had a chance for help, so I grabbed it. I guess this is not a crime,” Anne said, tears running down her face. “I can’t wait to tell my family.”</blockquote>Slavery in Saudi Arabia is extremely common. Our organization, Rescue Christians, actually rescued a Christian Ethiopian woman from slavery in Saudi Arabia, back in 2015. As we <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://rescuechristians.org/rescuechristians-org-saves-kenyan-woman-from-slavery-in-saudi-arabia/">reported</a>:<blockquote>we were contacted by a supporter who was in direct contact with a Kenyan woman who was enslaved by a Saudi family. They reluctantly agreed to let her go home to Kenya and resettle the woman’s kids because ironically they were living in a Muslim neighborhood. The Saudi family only agreed to let her go if she left all her money behind (not much) and they also did not allow her to travel with any money for the long journey.The Saudi family figured that because she was destitute and without their meager job that she would have to return to Saudi Arabia. They were right except they did not figure that Rescue Christians would fill the vacuum.Further after the woman arrived in Kenya she found out that one of her children had received a bad burn on her leg possibly because the Saudi family had not paid the child minder in Kenya (part of the contract of employment, but they stopped once they agreed to allow the woman to return home). The child minder never brought the child to hospital possibly because they were not paid. The burn on the leg has now been infected, pray for the child’s health.We are still in the middle of this situation and helping the women with money to get an apartment, supply money for food and help restore her to her children as well as get her a job that she can live peaceably so she never has to return to Saudi Arabia.</blockquote>

This is no longer theory but is already in process. In September of 2015, the coalition of regional separatists won in the elections to the regional parliament. (62 places out of 135). In November, the parliament of Catalonia accepted the resolution of independence of Catalonia from Spain (according to the resolution, within 18 months Catalonia will secede from Spain, during this 18 months the necessary government structures of a new state will be created in Catalonia and a new constitution will be written).</blockquote>This fragmentation will spread chaos like a wildfire. The former Prime Minister of Italy, Enrico Letta, recently said that the situation in Catalonia could spark chaos throughout Europe. Letta <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/04/catalonia-crisis-could-spread-chaos-like-a-virus-across-europe.html">said</a>:<blockquote>"Europe needs a solution and Europe needs to avoid this chaos — chaos can be like a virus and we need to avoid chaos …We were exiting from the main political problems in Europe and now this Catalonian issue risks bringing a new virus and new chaos”</blockquote>If Catalonia leaves Spain, it will also leave the EU, and the domino effect will hit Europe — both East and West — and it will only be further fragmented. Esteban Gonzalez Pons, an MEP from Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy’s Popular Party, <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.capitalfm.co.ke/news/2017/10/eu-says-time-talk-catalonia-crisis/">said</a>: <blockquote>“If today you let Spain break up with Catalonia, a domino effect will follow across the continent. Instead of a Europe of 27, we will have a non-Europe of mini-states” </blockquote>Italian politician, Gianni Pittella, <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.dw.com/en/germany-hopes-for-de-escalation-in-catalonia/a-40802403">warned</a>: <blockquote>"A unilateral declaration of independence would amount to a further provocation, which would throw oil on the fire after Sunday's meaningless referendum" </blockquote>Philippe Lamberts, a Belgian politician, has said that the threats of revolt coming from Catalonia:<blockquote>“threaten the spirit of European integration, even more than Brexit”</blockquote>All of these warnings are just nice ways of saying that with fragmentation, will come war.Europe is fragmenting, as Christendom once fragmented before the eruption of the Thirty Years War in the 17th century. This is the worst crises that Spain has seen in decades, and the Catalonian separatists just keep on going, ignoring the demands of loyalty coming from the Spanish government. As one German report <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.dw.com/en/opinion-eu-silence-on-spain-catalonia-dispute-wont-help/a-40820932">states</a>:<blockquote>“So far, the Spanish government has failed miserably. Right now, those Catalans who want independence, alongside the region's state government, are simply pushing ahead with their plan. The Spanish king has intervened but the conflict still continues to intensify. A unilateral declaration of Catalan independence is only days away. Is that legal? Illegal? The Catalan president could care less.”</blockquote>The same report ends with a warning: “the Spanish crisis could well become a European crisis.”This is Syria all over again, but only this time its in Europe, and whatever happens in Europe effects the whole earth. This is why we called it, years ago, the Europe Spring. This apology will not help to calm the situation. It will only embolden the rebels as they see the apology as a show of weakness. This can be compared to Assad's attempt to bring peace to his country, when all it did was embolden the forces (the US, NATO and their Sunni allies) that wanted to get rid of him, and who saw Assad's cordialness as weakness.   The Catalonians are not stopping. They want to declare independence from Spain, and have planned a meeting for Tuesday to make this declaration. Initially, they made the meeting for Monday, but just on Thursday, Spain’s highest court suspended the Catalonian parliament’s Monday’s meeting, in trying to prevent Catalan President Carlos Puigdemont's expected declaration of independence. But the Catalonians are not backing down. Catalan’s biggest banks are <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-10-05/catalonia-s-banks-prepare-to-move-amid-fears-of-customer-exodus">now</a> talking about leaving Catalan in the midst of the referendum to secede from Spain. Spain’s fifth largest bank, Banco Sabadell SA, already confirmed on Thursday that it will be leaving Catalan and resettling in Alicante. The board for CaixaBank SA has already <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.foxbusiness.com/features/2017/10/06/caixabank-to-move-headquarters-out-catalonia.html">said</a> that it will be leaving Catalonia for Valencia "in light of the current political and social situation in Catalonia." This is not for no reason.If banks are leaving Catalonia, that means they know that secession is going to happen, or at least that major instability is going to commence. If you want to know the future, just look at the banks. The ones who control the money, control the world. Willem Buiter, chief economist at Citi Bank, <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/06/if-catalonia-goes-independent-these-places-could-be-next.html">told</a> CNBC on Wednesday:<blockquote>“the Europe of regions is making a comeback.”</blockquote>One <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/05/europe/spain-catalonia-independence/index.html">report</a> from Laura Smith-Spark states that the decision by Banco Sabadell SA to leave Catalan signifies the growing tensions between Catalonia and Madrid:<blockquote>“Another sign of tensions was the decision of Banco Sabadell, one of Catalonia's largest banks, to move its registration outside the Catalonia region to the eastern city of Alicante, the bank said in a statement.”</blockquote>The idea of breaking nations into regions, or “regionalism,” will be becoming more and more of a headline in the near future. After Brexit, other secessionists of Europe were inspired, knowing that they, too, could succeed. Nigel Farage, one of the movers behind the Brexit movement, is totally in favor for the Catalonian separatist movement. This is not by accident, since Farage and those like him are instigators for revolution, arm chair rebels whose call for secession will only lead to violence. As tensions rise between Catalonia and Madrid, Brussels <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/oct/03/eu-catalonia-brussels-spain">is not</a> doing anything to intervene. We suspect that Germany, and its EU states, will act neutral until blood is on the streets, and then there will be intervention.
