So far, in the year 2017, there have been 410 attacks made by Hindus against Christians. As we read in <a href="http://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/cwn/2017/august/indian-christians-experience-record-breaking-persecution-in-2017" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">one report</a>:<blockquote>Indian Christians experienced almost as many attacks in the first half of the 2017 as they did in the entire year of 2016.That's according to a new report from the persecution watchdog organization <a href="https://www.opendoorsusa.org/christian-persecution/world-watch-list/india/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Open Doors</a>. According to the report, there were 410 reported incidents targeting Indian Christians in the first six months of this year. Last year, there were 441 reported incidents total.Eighty-four of those incidents were violent assaults. Of those 84 violent attacks, 32 would have been deadly if timely medical-aid had not been provided.One partner told Open Doors the Indian government fails to punish attackers, which emboldens them to target Christians even more."When Christians are beaten up by extremists, they are injured mostly on their heads or vital body parts. There was one incident earlier this year when the victim was attacked by a sword to his head. He was bleeding profusely and was critically injured… Attackers do not care if the person dies. They know they will not be punished because the Government (and hence the judiciary) will take their side. In most cases attackers go unpunished," the partner said.While some Christians may not be physically attacked, they pay a heavy societal toll for following Christ.According to the report, many Christians become social outcasts or are forced to leave their homes for fear of their safety.The biggest perpetrators of this persecution are Hindu extremists.While the Indian government speaks of religious freedom and secularism, the government is run by a Hindu nationalist party called RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh).Leaders are embracing Hinduism more and becoming less tolerant of other religions, especially Christians.One Christian leader said he was once a Hindu nationalist and persecuted Christians before he made the decision to follow Christ."Before I converted to Christianity, I used to be a staunch Hindu. I also joined RSS at that time and started working with them. The party upholds Hindutva ideology and believes that if Christians in India aren't controlled, they would convert all the Hindus in the country and Hindutva would lose its identity," he told Oepn Doors. "Hence RSS wants to do their best to stop Christians from preaching about their faith. They would go to any extremes for that. I myself persecuted many Christians until I came to the Christian faith and realized what I had been doing."India's Christians are fighting back by lobbying their government officials.The National Council of Churches in India (NCCI), which represents 14 million Protestant and Orthodox Christians, recently wrote an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in hopes he would condemn the persecution.No such actions have been taken by the Indian government since that letter was written.</blockquote>

Rome Is The Continuation Of Israel, Christendom Is The Continuation Of Israel, And It Is Here To Fight Against All Evils, And To Destroy Nazism

By Theodore Shoebat (Shoebat Sunday Special) The world is spiraling downwards into Nazism, and there are many people who believe that one can be a Nazi and a Christian at the same time. They are fixated on genetics, and act as if that they are saved by their race, and not by grace. This warped view stems from rejecting the reality that Christendom is not about race, but rather, it is a continuation of the spirituality of Israel.  Three times did Christ ask St. Peter: “Lovest thou me?” and three times did that holy rock of the Church say: “Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee.”And what did Christ say at the end? “Feed my sheep.” (John 21:15-17) A shepherd feeds his flock; a shepherd is a significant leader of the Church, the flock is an analogy of the people within the Church. Thus, Christ calls Peter to be shepherd of the Church.  And where did St. Peter and St. Paul go? They went to Rome. From the Middle East, to the West, did Israel spread its light of truth to the heathens. This is expressed by Eusebius in his Church History:<blockquote>“For immediately, during the reign of Claudius, the all-good and gracious Providence, which watches over all things, led Peter, that strongest and greatest of the apostles, and the one who on account of his virtue was the speaker for all the others, to Rome against this great corrupter of life. He like a noble commander of God, clad in divine armor, carried the costly merchandise of the light of the understanding from the East to those who dwelt in the West, proclaiming the light itself, and the word which brings salvation to souls, and preaching the kingdom of heaven.” (1)</blockquote>In Israel was the light of God revealed to mankind, under the starry sky of Mesopotamia, when the Lord appeared to Abraham and declared to him that the number of his descendants will be as numerous as the stars. In Israel the Savior of Mankind appeared, and by the ark of His Church, did Israel spread throughout the nations, making gentiles into the sons of Abraham. The Jewish authorities held Paul in a trial, and they abused him. The high priest, Ananias, told his men, “smite him on the mouth.” (Acts 23:3) In this abuse Paul said: “God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?” (Acts 23:3) Later, Paul was put into captivity, and while he was kept inside of a castle, the Lord appeared to him and said: <blockquote>“Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified to me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.” (Acts 23:11) </blockquote>These words signify a continuation, from Israel to Rome; for Christ was to form Christendom, and He wants for His prophecy to be a reality, that His name shall be “great among the Gentiles, and in every place there is sacrifice, and there is offered to my name a clean oblation: for my name is great among the Gentiles, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Malachi 1:11) Christ wanted Paul to preach in Rome as he preached in Jerusalem, and what did He say of the fate of this great city? “Jerusalem is to be trodden down by the Gentiles; till the times of the nations be fulfilled.” (Luke 21:24) Jerusalem was sacked by the Romans, but what came of Rome? It became the spiritual center of Western Christendom. But what happened to Israel? Did it disappear? The question that lies is, what is Israel? Is Israel a race or is it a spirituality? If we say that it is a race, then we are no different than those scribes to whom St. John the Baptist proclaimed:<blockquote>“Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of penance; and do not begin to say, We have Abraham for our father. For I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham.” (Luke 3:8) </blockquote>Israel is the heavenly Mount Zion, and when we enter its depths we come to “the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the company of many thousands of angels, And to the church of the firstborn, who are written in the heavens, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel.” (Hebrews 12:22-24) In ancient Israel there was a priesthood, there was sacrifice and penance, and did this cease with the destruction of the Temple, of the sacking of Jerusalem? If we believe that Israel ceased to exist because it no longer was a State or a nation, then we must believe that Israel ceased to exist during the Babylonian Exile. But we believe that Israel never ceased to exist once we uphold her as a spiritual reality. After the sacking of the Temple, to where did Israel go? It continued on, in the Church. The Church is the continuation of Israel, and this perpetuation of Israel is found in Christendom. Ancient Israel was a State, for it had the divine law, and at the same time, it was a spirituality, for God said through Jeremiah: “Be circumcised to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of your hearts” (Jeremiah 4:4). So, Israel was not just a nation, but a condition of the heart.True Judaism is not something that is genetically based, but is rather the state of a soul. A true Jew is a Jew of the heart. “For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel” (Romans 9:6).  Job was not genetically a Jew, rather he was a Edomite, being of the Arabian race, and still the Jews put his book in their canon. Moses was a Hebrew genetically, but he had no issue in marrying into the family of a Midianite Arab named Jethro who the Scripture describes as “the priest of Midian” (Exodus 3:1). And why, if the state of a Jew has to be genetic, would there be a priest of God who is of the Midianite nation? All of this shows Judaism as a spirituality, as opposed to being something solely genetic. “Because, if they deny this,” writes St. Augustine, “they can be most easily confuted by the case of the holy and wonderful man Job, who was neither a native nor a proselyte, that is, a stranger joining the people of Israel, but, being bred of the Idumean race, arose there and died there too, and who is so praised by the divine oracle, that no man of his times is put on a level with him as regards justice and piety. And although we do not find his date in the chronicles, yet from his book, which for its merit the Israelites have received as of canonical authority, we gather that he was in the third generation after Israel.” (2)Just because someone may be genetically Jewish, does not make him a Jew in the ultimate meaning of the word. You have people who say they are Jews, but they are atheists and darwinists. Does them being Jewish make them somehow no different than Moses or the prophets? Absolutely not. But there are so called Christians who have a very unbalanced view of the Jews, seeing them as nearly perfect, or as people who don’t need Christ for salvation. Such a view stems from a morphed view that Israel is about a race, and not about a spirit. It is this ethnocentric view that gets people to fixate on the race of the Jews, as opposed to seeing ancient Israel as part of the greater history of Christendom.  There is also another imbalance, one that expresses nothing but contempt and hatred for the Jews, as a people with whom God is totally done with. This too stems from an imbalanced view that treats with indifference Israel, the people with whom Christendom begins.  Such people who have this mentality ignore the words of St. Augustine when he wrote:<blockquote>“Let the reader but call to mind that corner-stone and those two walls of partition, the one of the Jews, the other of the Gentiles, and he will recognize them, the one under the term sons of Judah, the other as sons of Israel, supporting themselves by one and the same headship, and ascending from the earth. But that those carnal Israelites who are now unwilling to believe in Christ shall afterward believe, that is, their children shall (for they themselves, of course, shall go to their own place by dying), this same prophet testifies, saying, ‘For the children of Israel abide many days without a king, without a prince, without a sacrifice, without an altar, without a priesthood, without manifestations.’ (Hosea 3:4) Who does see that the Jews are now thus? But let us hear what he adds: ‘And afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king, and shall be amazed at the Lord and at his goodness in the latter days.’ (Hosea 3:5)” </blockquote>Notice how Augustine has a balanced view on the Jews. He does not exempt them from criticism, describing the Jews who reject Christ as “carnal Israelites,” who, referencing Hosea's prophecy, have no altar and no sacrifice, that is, they are outside of the Church,  being without the sacrifice of the Eucharist, which is offered by the people who entered the ark of Christ of which the Lord declared:<blockquote>“For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Malachi 1:11) </blockquote>Augustine does not express hatred for the Jews, or refer to the Jews as being done away with. This great scholar of the Church, instead, remembers that God will bring the Jews back to the fold of Christ, to the true religion of Moses, to the ark of the Church. As St. Jerome wrote to Pope Damasus of the Holy See in Rome:<blockquote>“As I follow no leader save Christ, so I communicate with none but your blessedness, that is with the chair of Peter. For this, I know, is the rock on which the church is built! This is the house where alone the paschal lamb can be rightly eaten. This is the ark of Noah, and he who is not found in it shall perish when the flood prevails.” (3) </blockquote>   Christ came to be the Messiah of Israel, to fulfill what God proclaimed to Abraham:<blockquote>“I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.” (Genesis 22:17-18) </blockquote>Christ did not come for solely those who were genetically descendant of Abraham, no, He came so that all of humanity could become sons of Abraham. Hence St. Paul writes: <blockquote>“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.” (Galatians 3:7-9) </blockquote>The holy Apostle was combating the racist nationalism that the Jews held onto. When St. Peter had dinner with the centurion, Cornelius, and his family, the judaizers were enraged with him, saying: “Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.” (Acts 11:3) But, when St. Peter explained to them that Christ had commanded him to eat with Cornelius so that he and his household would be baptized and saved, “they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.” (Acts 11:18)   God came for Israel, but not just for those who were genetically Jews, but for all those willing to become citizens of Israel. Christ came to those who are “aliens from the commonwealth of Israel” (Ephesians 2:12)  so “that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.” (Romans 9:26) Salvation has nothing to do with genetics. God did not come to Abraham because of his genetic makeup, but rather because “he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” (Hebrews 11:10) The pharisees, in their hatred for Christ, said: “Do you see that we prevail nothing? behold, the whole world is gone after him.” (John 12:19) Indeed, for Christ encompasses the world, in Him is the whole of Humanity; He is the Center of all mortals, and He came to bring all of mankind into Israel. And what does the Scripture say, after quoting these words of the pharisees? <blockquote>“Now there were certain Gentiles among them, who came up to adore on the festival day. These therefore came to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying: Sir, we would see Jesus.” (John 12:20-21) </blockquote>The pharisees were enraged at the fact that all peoples were coming to Christ, and while they were in their animosity and racism, gentiles appeared to worship the Salvation of all humanity, in whom we live, and move, and are (Acts 17:28). The verse is an image of what was to come: the gentiles coming to Christ and in being in Him, becoming Israel. A gentile soldier named Longinus pierced the side of Christ, and blood and water poured forth from His holy rib, representing humanity — symbolized as water — being united to Christ Who, before His crucifixion said: “this is my blood of the new testament, which shall be shed for many unto remission of sins.” (Matthew 26:28) A gentile pierced the rib of Christ and beheld that image that symbolized the union between humanity — both Jew and gentile — and the Sacrifice for humanity; between mankind and the Church through which we receive the Eucharist, that is, the flesh and blood of Christ.   God wanted to create Christendom, and He foreknew that it would be a continuation of Israel by the hand of the Gentiles whose souls would be bridged with the prophets and monastics of Israel. Hence God chose St. Paul, a former Pharisee, “to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel” (Acts 9:15) In Israel there were monks and ascetics and holy kings. Did this somehow cease to continue? Far from it, for it continued on in Christendom, that is, Israel, which never ends and flows like a river into eternity. St. Paul, who was “of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews” (Philippians 3:5), preached not for a new religion, but for the faith of Israel. Those who rejected the faith, refused to enter the ark, and those who accepted the faith, followed the true religion of Moses, “For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me.” (John 5:46) Those who followed Christ would become the predecessors of Christendom, handing to posterity this Christendom, the continuation of Israel, a Christendom now dismembered and put to sleep in this horrid Babylonian exodus that we now are in. There is indeed an anciently rooted harmony between Israel and Rome. When the pagan Greeks were butchering the Hebrews, when the people of Israel were under the cruel despotism of the idolatrous tyrants, and they resisted the tyranny of the heathen, Judah went to Rome for protection. Israel and Rome made a covenant, that they would protect each other from their enemies. The Book of Maccabees says:<blockquote>“Judas had heard about the Romans and their reputation as a military power. He knew that they welcomed all those who joined them as allies and that those who came to them could be sure of the friendship of Rome.” (1 Maccabees 8:1-2) </blockquote>Judas Maccabees marveled at the valor of the Romans, at their martial dexterity and their efficiency at conquering other nations, like Spain, Galatia, Media and Lydia. Judah sent Eupolemus to be his emissary to the Romans, and when he arrived in the Senate house of Rome, he declared:<blockquote>“Judah, who is also called Maccabaeus, and his brethren, and the whole people of the Jews, have sent us unto you, to make a confederacy and peace with you, and that we might be registered your confederates and friends.” </blockquote>When the Romans heard this, they sent their covenant to Jerusalem on tablets made of brass, proclaiming:<blockquote>“May things go well forever for the Romans and for the Jewish nation on land and sea! May they never have enemies, and may they never go to war! But if war is declared first against Rome or any of her allies anywhere, the Jewish nation will come to her aid with wholehearted support, as the situation may require. And to those at war with her, the Jews shall not give or supply food, arms, money, or ships, as was agreed in Rome. The Jews must carry out their obligations without receiving anything in return.In the same way, if war is declared first against the Jewish nation, the Romans will come to their aid with hearty support, as the situation may require. And to their enemies there shall not be given or supplied food, arms, money, or ships, as was agreed in Rome. The Romans must carry out their obligations without deception.These are the terms of the treaty that the Romans have made with the Jewish people. But if, in the future, both parties shall agree to add or remove anything, they shall act on their decision, and whatever they add or remove shall be valid.” (1 Maccabees 8:23-32) </blockquote>The Book of Maccabees tells us that the brass tablets were kept in Jerusalem “for a memorial of peace and confederacy.” (1 Maccabees 8:22) It was a covenant of peace between Rome and Jerusalem, and when the Messiah came, they wanted Him to break the covenant with Rome. But God hates covenant breakers, and this is one of the reasons as to why Christ never honored the Jews’ nationalist cause against Rome: it was the breaking of a covenant. When the Jews had gone against Christ, they became like those abominable heathens who are “Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful” (Romans 1:31). Pilate went before the mob and gave them the choice: spare Christ, your King and Messiah, or spare Barrabbas, a nationalist terrorist who murdered a Roman soldier, breaking the covenant made between Rome and Jerusalem by his Maccabeean ancestors. The mob chose Barrabbas, they chose the way of covenant breakers. It was under the system of democracy that Christ was murdered; it was under the bloodthirsty demands of a nationalist mob that Christ was slain; it was under the compliance of a pagan ally that Christ was crucified. And on that wooden cross was there the title, King of the Jews, in the languages of Latin, Greek and Hebrew, and it is truly wondrous that today the Church declares in each mass: <blockquote>“SANCTUS, Sanctus, Sanctus, Dominus Deus Sabaoth. Pleni sunt caeli et terra gloria tua. Hosanna in excelsis. Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini. Hosanna in excelsis.”    “HOLY, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Thy glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.”</blockquote>This is a declaration bearing words of the Latin, Hebrew and Greek languages. Thus the sign on the cross is not just a mere detail of history, but a foreshadowing of Christendom.The soldiers who mocked Christ, do these not presage the coming of the persecutors of the Church? The soldier who declared before the cross, and before Christ’s Mother, the Virgin Mary, “Truly this was the Son of God” (Matthew 27:54), did not this soldier foreshadow the warriors of Christendom, defending the Church — who is represented by the Virgin Mary — against her persecutors? On Mount Golgotha, on this mountain of cosmic struggle, stood the image of Christendom: combat, death, and victory, this is the life of Christendom! Look to the actions and to the zeal of Pope Pius XII when he confronted the evil heretics, the Nazis. When these sanguinary murderers and antichrists began their genocide, Pope Pius XII, rescued hundreds of thousands of Jews from the death camps. Pope Pius XI, his predecessor, also combated Nazism, and on February 11, 1939, the chief rabbi of Paris, Julien Weil, had this to say on the death of Pius XI:<blockquote>“The death of his Holiness Pius XI moves me deeply and painfully. Judaism wholeheartedly joins the universal veneration that surrounded the august Pontiff, admiring and honoring him as a servant of God, a true apostle of social justice, peace and the human fraternity.  On numerous occasions, Pius XI denounced with luminous firmness and clarity the pernicious errors of racist paganism, and he condemned anti-Semitism as irreconcilable with the Christian faith and as an instigator of iniquities and odious violence. I am sure that I express the feelings of my fellow Jews in saluting with respect the great figure of Pius XI and in giving in our prayers a religious expression of our homage of regret and gratitude toward this great servant of the God of justice and love.” (4) </blockquote>When the pagans were persecuting the Hebrews, and mercilessly slaughtering them for observing the Law of Moses, it was racist paganism. And it was Rome who made a pact with the Hebrews to defend them. When the Nazis were slaughtering the Jews by the millions, that was also racist paganism. And it was Rome who came to their defense, thus continuing the oath made between Jerusalem and Rome. When Aeneas, the patriarch of pagan Rome approached the city of Evander, he, wanting to show peace to the inhabitants, reach out with his hand holding a peaceful olive-branch (5) a remnant of what was remembered of a time long past, when a dove returned to Noah with an olive branch in its mouth, revealing that the waters had subsided and peace returned. But now, that the Gentile world has entered the ark, they follow the olivae binae pietatis unicae or the twofold olive-branch of a singular piety, (6) that is, the teachings of St. Peter and Paul, the bishops who brought the Gospel to the Gentiles, bringing them into the ark, and into the fold of Israel, bringing into the world glorious Christendom, a Christendom that must be awakened. In the words of the Spanish Christian poet, Prudentius:<blockquote>“Now the successor of Aeneas, in the imperial purple, prostrates himself in prayer at the house of Christ, and the supreme lord adores the banner of the cross.” (7) </blockquote>Christendom, the continuation of Israel, is here to fight evil, to combat the diabolical systems that seek wage war on humanity itself.

Billy Graham and an activist who speaks out against sexual abuse in churches, has opened up about some of the horror stories victims have shared with him."My focus is on the church because that's where I grew up, that's where I've seen some of the horrors. That's where I've encountered survivors who, in tears, tell me that they can't pray to God because the man who abused them was praying when he abused them, or reading Scripture while he was raping them," Tchividjian told Vice.com in a recent interview.Tchividjian leads the Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment organization, which investigates sexual abuse in Christian circles.A common thread in much of his research is that many churches do not have policies to deal with accusations of abuse, and often times the abuser, and not the victim, gets protected.He pointed to data from insurance providers that shows that sexual abuse goes on in Protestant churches just as much, if not more so, as in Roman Catholic ones.A major problem, he said, is that too many pastors still don't want to talk about and ignore issues related to abuse."We have to educate our church leaders about this issue so we can try and eliminate victim blaming when disclosures are made. Telling the victim it was their fault because of how they were dressed or were acting, or forcing them to forgive the offender, just compounds the shame they are already going through," Tchividjian said.He said that males get abused as well, but often times they are silent because of shame."I've had male survivors tell me they didn't want anyone in the church to know because they thought that they would be labeled a future offender and everyone would keep their kids away, or they would be accused of being gay," he revealed.The GRACE founder noted that delving into the reality of sexual abuse sometimes presents very tough challenges for believers."When you grow up as an evangelical Christian you have this nice neat view of God and the world. And when you start doing this work, that all gets shattered. Because how do you answer when someone asks you, 'Where was God when my dad was coming into my room every night and molesting me? Was he watching? Why didn't he stop him?' Those are questions I don't have answers to. All I can do is grieve with them and maybe get a little angry," he stated."But studying who Jesus was while He lived on this Earth has given me a greater appreciation for who He was in relation to this issue. There was no greater defender of children than Jesus."Tchividjian told The Christian Post in an interview back in 2015 that churches must do better in their response to sex abuse."[Churches] should be the place where children and survivors feel most safe and most loved," Tchividjian told CP at the time."My prayer is that one day churches will be the place offenders feel the least safe knowing that the church is vigilantly watching over its children and won't hesitate to report suspected abuse to the God-ordained authorities. I think Jesus requires nothing less of us. Evil is defined by the nature of the act, not who commits the act.Likewise, nobody denies there is a problem with primarily the abuse of young men at the hands of homosexual priests, which as it has been shown constitute fully 80% of all abuse cases. This is not out of vengeance, but for the good of the most innocent, since they will be the ones most likely to be affected.What makes this story such a relief is that finally major Protestant voices are admitting through their own media outlets that they have the same problems the Catholics do, and that as we have known for years, the problem is actually worse and that some people are making a public effort to confront the issue.When the Catholic sexual abuse scandal was first revealed by the Hartford Courant and Boston Globe in 2002, I remember the wave of anger, shock, and rage that many people exhibited, and rightly so, for what started then is part of a crisis that has continued to unfold worldwide over the last 15 years showing a pattern among enough members of the clergy that there was systematic and primarily homosexual abuse of minors. However, the sexual abuse crisis also brought to public attention something which only people who were deeply involved in Church affairs or who were deep in "rad-trad" (radical traditionalist, such as SSPX, SSPV, or different types of sedevacantist groups) would discuss existing, which was the presence of a "gay mafia" in the Vatican that was both complicit in the abuse and was covering up cases of abuse on behalf of fellow sodomite perpetrators. While there are still problems, if the sexual abuse crisis did anything was to fully open up the divisions of the Church to public scrutiny, and while this has been an embarassing period, it has also allowed people to clearly show, to use a term that homosexuals like to use, "true colors" to the world by exposing the word and deeds of church members for better or for worse. Indeed, it was the beginning of a process of separating the "wheat from the chaff" because people who did not care either left the Church or if they stayed in the ranks they have persisted in perpetuating their evil ideas in a public manner, while those who genuinely care have stayed and become more active, many times returning to traditional practices such as devotionals, attending mass in Latin, as well as attempting to live a more holy lifestyle. The Church as become smaller, but the divisions that were once hidden are now much clearer and easier to perceive, and its people care more than those of generations of the recent past.<a href="/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/dsfghjkl.jpeg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img alt="" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-113634" height="275" src="http://shoebat.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/dsfghjkl.jpeg" width="183" /></a>Cardinal Coccopalmerio, in whose apartment recently took place a gay sex orgy with various priests and bishops. It is critical that the homosexual mafia inside the Vatican and all their hideous deeds be exposed for the good of the faithful. While sexual abuse can be found in any Church, the fact that 80% of it in the Catholic Church is of a homosexual nature means that the Church does NOT have a sexual abuse problem- it has a homosexual problem because they are the ones overwhelmingly doing the abuse.The same cannot be said about the Protestant Churches, especially in the United States, and I focus specifically there because Protestant Christianity has come to its full fruition in the lands of the Reformation five centuries ago, as the majority of people are either secular or their "Christianity" is simply ethnonationalism with a Christian flavor solely for the purpose of evoking their conception of history for their followers. Protestantism is for all purposes dead in Europe, and it is dying the same death in America, but simply at a longer timeline. The mainline Protestant denominations are filled with elderly and like people in hospice care are waiting for death- the Episcopalians survive only because of an accumulation of wealth, and much can be said about the Presybtarians, Congregationalists, and Methodists. The Baptists, Pentecostals, and their sister variants in the "evangelical" Christian churches that number the American landscape like crumbs on a plate are the strongest, but even they have admitted that they are in decline too:<blockquote>There’s no denying the decline of America’s largest Protestant denomination any longer. The SBC lost almost 78,000 members in the past year, according to the Annual Church Profile (ACP) released ahead of its upcoming annual meeting. Southern Baptists have now lost a million members since their peak of 16.3 million in 2003.The denomination is down to its “lowest baptisms since 1946; lowest membership since 1990; lowest worship attendance since 1996,” <a class="" href="https://twitter.com/nobtspres/status/872568951234076675" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according</a> to historical analysis from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.“The true bad news is that when you put last year in the context of all previous years, it indicates the SBC is in the midst of a decline that shows no signs of either slowing down or turning around,” <a class="" href="http://www.drchuckkelley.com/2017/06/08/sbc-state/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">said</a> Chuck Kelly, the seminary’s president.The only measure where Southern Baptists are growing is their number of churches, adding 479 churches last year for a total of more than 47,000. But leaders are concerned that they have fewer people to fill those churches. Congregations reported an overall drop in Sunday service attendance (down 7%) and fewer new believers being added through baptism (down 5%).Denominational leaders blame the downward trajectory on their struggle for effective evangelism.“It's clear that evangelism and discipleship are waning,” Thom Rainer, president and CEO of LifeWay Christian Resources, an SBC affiliate which produces the ACP report, <a class="" href="http://www.bpnews.net/49005/acp--churches-up-in-2016-baptisms-membership-decline" rel="noopener" target="_blank">told</a> BP. “I don't believe it is due to the lack of opportunities, though. Instead, there is a lack of engagement.”For years, evangelicals watched their fellow Protestants in mainline denominations undergo widespread and much-talked-about <a class="" href="http://www.christianitytoday.com/edstetzer/2015/april/3-important-trends-in-church-in-next-ten-years.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">decline</a>, while hoping their more conservative theology would sustain them. Yet, as Ed Stetzer <a class="" href="http://www.bpnews.net/47015/baptists-reflections-of-the-stats-guy" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">noted</a> a year ago, “Southern Baptists are shrinking faster than United Methodists.” (<a href="http://www.christianitytoday.com/news/2017/june/southern-baptist-convention-churches-baptisms-sbc-acp.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">source</a>)</blockquote>Christianity in America, regardless of the church or type, is strongest among foreign immigrants, which for the most part are the peoples of Central and South America since they constitute the single largest immigrant bloc still arriving to the USA today. However, it is a known fact that religious practice among them declines the further a family integrates into American society, and by the time the third or fourth generation is born, they are as American and indifferent towards religion as everybody else who has been here for the same period or longer. In this sense, they are in a similar situation with the Catholics.When one adds to the natural decline that Protestantism is facing with the sexual abuse that happens, this only becomes more serious. However, unlike in the case of the Catholic Church were there is a defined hierarchy that one can point to- say to use an example, "Fr. Murphy" molested a child and "Bishop O'Donnell" is not doing anything to stop it, we have to try to petition the Archbishop or Rome- through which a chain of accountability can be traced. This is very good an important because if there is a problem, even a systematic one, somebody can clearly identify the source and trace the steps to get it resolved or to expose to the public where a blockage has been erected to prevent the problem from being resolved.The same cannot be said about the Protestant Churches. Given that they are all smaller than the Catholic Church and believe that they can act as independent authorities on that of Christ outside of his apostles- in spite of the fact that Christ clearly passed His authority to His apostles and His authority comes from the succession of the Apostles- so it makes it far easier to hide illegal or immoral activity in one of these smaller congregations. Just as these small Churches will all call themselves "Christians" but often times share no common understanding of basic theology and will embrace heresies condemned since the days of antiquity such as the Antinominian heresy, which is pervasive in American Evangelicalism. The lack of authority leads to spiritual anarchy, and opens up a vacuum which not just heretics, but also people with evil intentions can move in and begin to cause chaos before moving onto the next church.It is well established that up to but no higher than 2% of Catholic clergy are involved in the sexual abuse of minprs with no higher than 4% involved in sexual misconduct in general, of which 80% of said misconduct involved homosexual activity. However, the numbers for Protestants, when released, tell a far more grim story, with a rate of at least 10% of abuse across all denominations. Jews are even worse, with possibly as high as 30% of rabbis being involved in sexual misconduct, mostly involving incest:<blockquote>According to a 2000 report to the Baptist General Convention in Texas, “The incidence of sexual abuse by clergy has reached ‘horrific proportions.’” It noted that in studies done in the 1980s, 12 percent of ministers had “engaged in sexual intercourse with members” and nearly 40 percent had “acknowledged sexually inappropriate behavior.” The report concluded that “The disturbing aspect of all research is that the rate of incidence for clergy exceeds the client-professional rate for physicians and psychologists.”[xix] Regarding pornography and sexual addiction, a national survey disclosed that about 20 percent of all ministers are involved in the behavior.[xx]In the spring of 2002, when the sexual abuse scandal in the Catholic Church was receiving unprecedented attention, the Christian Science Monitor reported on the results of national surveys by Christian Ministry Resources. The conclusion: “Despite headlines focusing on the priest pedophile problem in the Roman Catholic Church, most American churches being hit with child sexual-abuse allegations are Protestant, and most of the alleged abusers are not clergy or staff, but church volunteers.Finally, in the authoritative work by Penn State professor Philip Jenkins, Pedophiles and Priests, it was determined that between .2 and 1.7 percent of priests are pedophiles. The figure among the Protestant clergy ranges between 2 and 3 percent.[xxii]...Rabbi Joel Meyers, executive vice president of the Conservative Rabbinical Assembly, reports that 30 percent of rabbis who changed positions in 2000 did so involuntarily, and that sexual abuse was a factor in many instances.[xxiv] The Awareness Center devotes an entire website to “Clergy Abuse: Rabbis, Cantors & Other Trusted Officials.” It is a detailed and frank look at the problem of sexual abuse by rabbis.[xxv]The problem of sexual abuse in the Jehovah’s Witnesses is evident among church elders but most of the abuse comes from congregation members. “The victims who have stepped forward are mostly girls and young women,” writes Laurie Goodstein in the New York Times, “and many accusations involve incest.” There is a victims support group available, “silentlambs,” that has collected more than 5,000 Witnesses contending that the church mishandled child sexual abuse.[xxvi] (<a href="http://www.catholicleague.org/sexual-abuse-in-social-context-clergy-and-other-professionals/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">source</a>)</blockquote>But this is really nothing new for us. We've been on this trend, as Ted wrote in 2014 in an article from <a href="http://prospect.org/article/next-christian-sex-abuse-scandal" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Prospect</a>:<blockquote>For years, Protestants have assumed they were immune to the abuses perpetrated by celibate Catholic priests. But Tchividjian believes that Protestant churches, groups, and schools have been worse than Catholics in their response. Mission fields, he says, are “magnets” for would-be molesters; ministries and schools do not understand the dynamics of abuse; and “good ol’ boy” networks routinely cover up victims’ stories to protect their reputations. He fears it is only a matter of time before it all blows up in their faces and threatens the survival of powerful Protestant institutions.In the past couple of years, Tchividjian has begun to look prophetic. Reports and allegations of sex abuse, rape, and harassment—and a culture that has badly mishandled them—have become more and more frequent. In fall 2012, former members of Sovereign Grace Ministries, a “family” of about 80 conservative churches from various theological traditions, filed a class-action lawsuit against the ministry for failing to report allegations of sex abuse in the 1980s and 1990s—including abuse perpetrated by church leaders’ immediate family members—and discouraging victims and their families from going to law enforcement. (The lawsuit was dismissed last year because of expired statutes of limitations and jurisdictional questions, but an appeal and criminal investigations are under way.) This spring, an exposé in The New Republicrevealed that Patrick Henry, the college of choice for evangelical homeschoolers, has covered up alleged campus rape and sexual assault, thanks largely to its victim-blaming emphasis on women’s purity. Allegations of similar practices soon surfaced against other Christian colleges, including Pensacola Christian College in Florida and Cedarville University in Ohio. A documentary released in February, No Place to Call Home, recounts the systematic sexual abuse of children in the 1980s at Jesus People USA, an evangelical commune in Chicago. The empire of Bill Gothard, founder of the fundamentalist Institute in Basic Life Principles, crumbled earlier this year after bloggers revealed dozens of sexual-harassment and molestation claims against him.Common threads run through the stories: authoritarian settings where rule-following and obedience reign supreme; counseling techniques that emphasize victims’ own culpability; male leaders with few checks on their power; and, in the eyes of many Christians including Tchividjian, a perversion of the Bible to justify all three. “When you have this motley group of many denominations, this independent environment, and then this distortion of scripture, that’s an environment where abuse can flourish,” Tchividjian says. “But we’ve never been forced to deal with it on a Protestant-wide basis.”This will be a challenge. The Protestant world includes tens of thousands of denominations, plus thousands more nondenominational churches, ministries, mission boards, and subcultures. Unlike the Catholic Church, there is no Vatican, no shared leadership connecting, say, Calvary Chapel’s 1,600 churches with the Southern Baptist Convention’s 46,000. No common standards apply but the authority of scripture, which is interpreted differently from church to church, school to school, mission to mission.Even with its tightly controlled hierarchy, the Catholic Church has responded abysmally to sex abuse. “The Catholics have been forced through three decades of lawsuits to address this issue,” Tchividjian says. “The first decade, they gave it lip service, but after three decades, hundreds of millions of dollars lost, and publicity that devastated the Church, they were forced to begin addressing it. Anba Makarios, Bishop of Minya Province exposed the government officials, a move that is unusual which could level reaction by government. "The security services are continuing the closure of a Coptic church in the village of Kedwan in Minya," said Anba Makarios, Bishop of Minya."We are trying to find any places to hold religious rites so as not to violate the Copts' travel ban and to avoid possible dangers," he said. The travel ban was due to killings of Copts who travel to worship outside their villages to other locations where churches are open."These places may be a hall, a house, or even a small room with poor ventilation. The right to worship is forbidden on the whims of some local officials. Most times it is like tracking the Copts to prevent them from praying. Other times, persecution comes by use of force against the people and the clerics."He added: "Although the Constitution of the State affirms the freedom of worship, and although the directions of the President [Al-Sisi] is to achieve justice and equality and the establishment of peace and stability in the pillars of the country, but unfortunately, the suffering is still the same, the approach is still the same approach, the mechanism is still the same mechanism."In Egypt, a church cannot open its doors once closed and neither can there be an establishment of a new church. You would never see a new church built with domes, lamps, crucifixes and bells.In the village of Kedwan where the church was closed, there are no issues of crisis between Copts and Muslims, yet local authorities are pushing it. Following the disbanding of the Muslim Brotherhood in August 2013, the church establishments in Minya suffered especially the most. The attacks took on houses and property belonging to Christians there.The criticism of a church official the size of the Bishop of Minya security services in a public statement is rare since such an act is usually met with repercussions. "The severity of the statement reflects the anger of the church because of the injustice imposed on the Copts, especially in Minya, where extremist currents are growing" said Church lawyer Ihab Ramzi. The suffering stems from the mismanagement of security leaders, where there is always someone who carries within it a grudge against the Copts.In other words, laws that approve church building are not followed. The copts of Egypt are feisty and the most resilient to persecution. Take for example the church in the village of Kedwan, which includes 1200 Christians was stormed in 2012 by extremists. This did not make them quit. Christians resorted to pray in the churches of neighboring villages with the help of the episcopate which was sending buses to transport Christians to these churches. But after the dangers facing the Copts because of threats, dozens were killed during a trip to a monastery in the desert of Minya months ago. The Christians in the village of Kedwan then started to pray in their homes until one of them donated a room in order for Christians to gather and to observe their religious rites. This surprised the security services which prevented them from praying in this place. They evacuated the worshipers and asked the priest not to pray again, which raised the resentment of the Bishop of Minya."It is now clear that the Christians of Kedwan are not allowed to go to pray in a nearby church or to open their village church, nor to assemble in a room in the village to pray" said the Bishop. And its the same issue in Turkey. Following the confiscation of their properties, many Syriacs, one of the world’s oldest Christian communities, are temporarily returning to Europe to live together with their families and they are asking for a peaceful atmosphere to be ensured for these returns not to be permanent.An Al-Monitor report said last month that around 50 properties belonging to the Syriac Orthodox Church were seized by Turkish authorities who claimed that the ownership deeds had lapsed. Mor Gabriel monastery applied for an appeal, which was rejected by a special commission working on the liquidation of the assets.The commission began last year to transfer assets which were considered invalid following a municipal reform. Dozens of houses of worship, cemeteries and other properties of the Syriac community were confiscated by state authorities.Some of the assets, including churches in Mardin province that were owned by the Syriac community, were seized by the Treasury and were planned to be transferred to the Religious Affairs Directorate. While a special commission established under the Mardin Governor’s Office cancelled a decision to transfer Syriac churches and monasteries to Turkey’s Religious Affairs Directorate, the fate of assets remains unclear.Syriacs living in Mardin are also concerned about the insecure political and economic situation and the Turkish government’s approach to different beliefs and cultures and fear for their lives.Renate Sommer, a member of the European Parliament from the Christian Democratic Union, part of the European People’s Party, harshly criticized the decision of seizure and said the Syriacs were at risk of being wiped out in Turkey.The Syriac community has a total of seven foundations in Turkey, most of which are located in Mardin. According to Turkish officials, there are approximately 25,000 Syriacs living in Turkey, 18,000 of whom are in İstanbul, with the rest scattered in eastern and southeastern provinces.Approximately 3,000 Syriacs had migrated from Europe to Turkey in the 1980s.
