I said it would be no problem. The documentary has been out for some time and has already had showings in select theaters in the United States.But then, the spirit of fear crept its way inside. Peter LaBarbera, an Evangelical who is in the documentary, was confronted by the leftist media on the fact he is in the same documentary with me, the man who believes in God’s law that says that sodomites are to be put to death. Instead of defending the law of the Bible, which he claims to believe, this hireling decided to push for me to recant my statements, and said that if I didn’t that I should be removed from the documentary. Janet called me urging me to make a statement to “clarify” what I really believed, that I really don’t believe in the death penalty for sodomites, but simply in the anti-sodomy laws that were once enacted in Texas.To be honest I was quite hesitant to do this because to do so would mean recanting all of my writings in support for the death penalty. Janet sent me the first draft of the statement to receive my stamp of approval. But how could a Christian use such argumentation when St. Paul himself says that “the purpose of the commandment is love” (1 Timothy 1:5), and in the same epistle goes on to say that “we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites” (1 Timothy 1:8-10)?In Christianity, love and justice and indistinguishable, for all virtues, be it justice, charity or endurance, are in love, for God is Love, and in God is all virtue. Through his work he supported his mother, three brothers and two sisters. A local Muslim man named Daanu Chaddar has been arrested in connection with the case.An attorney for the family, Kashif Naimet, said Chaddar threatened Masih after he refused to sweep his outhouse on Sunday, Masih's day off.Naimet said: 'Ostensibly angered by the Christian's refusal to submit to his demand, Chaddar allegedly told Noman to be ready to face "dire consequences", as he will not take no for an answer from a petty sanitary worker. Chaddar reportedly threatened Noman that he would "Cut off his legs and riddle his body with bullets" for defying his order.'Naimet added: 'Noman was a simple sanitary worker and had no enmity with anyone. His refusal to clean the Muslim's dera [outhouse] apparently led to his killing.'Rights advocates say many Muslims in Pakistan mistreat Christians as they are a minority community with minimal power or status. Many in the sanitation profession, a relatively lowly position mostly comprising Christians, find themselves especially degraded.Riaz Masih Bhatti, president of the Sheikhupura Tehsil Municipal Authority sanitary workers union, said: 'There have been frequent incidents of prejudice against Christian sanitary workers, but Noman's murder in a brazen attack in broad daylight has sent a wave of shock and panic in the entire community.'Christian rights activist Napolean Qayyum said: 'Many Muslims find it hard to accept refusal by a "lowly" Christian. He beat her up and then threatened her with a knife:<blockquote>Jacob Pauda, who gained national attention for his heavily-tattooed mugshot, was sentenced Monday to 15 years in prison at the end of a weeklong bench trial before Judge John McClendon in the 137th District Court.McClendon found Pauda, 31, guilty on Wednesday of a third-degree felony count of domestic assault with a prior conviction. Third-degree felonies carry a punishment range of two to 10 years in prison. However, a previous conviction for a 2003 aggravated assault enhanced his punishment range to a second-degree felony, which carries two to 20 years in prison.Assistant District Attorney Laura Beth Fossett told McClendon that Pauda deserved the maximum sentence. She said Pauda’s actions that night and his criminal history showed he is a violent man who’s not only a threat to his own family but to the community as well.She said the bruises Ramirez suffered detailed an aggressive assault that was also aimed at his unborn child.“You don’t treat your family this way,” she said. “You don’t treat the mother of your children this way”She showed McClendon a picture of a tattoo on Pauda’s stomach that read “Certified Gangsta.”“He wants you to know who he is,” she told McClendon. “Mission accomplished.”Pauda’s tattoos, which covered his his entire body, scalp and legs, were a prominent part of the the state’s case during the punishment phase of the trial.An investigator with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office gang unit testified that Pauda was a member of the Texas Tango Blast prison gang. He pointed out a majority of Pauda’s tattoos indicated affiliation with the gang.However, in a pre-sentencing report, Pauda stated he was no longer a part of the the gang.Before handing down the punishment, McClendon told Pauda he could not ignore his criminal history, particularly the aggravated assault conviction, when he decided his punishment.“What I do see in regards to this is that it’s happened at least twice,” he said. “You’ve obviously had other issues that had brought you before this court and other courts. I can’t look past that.”Mendez said after the trial that his client was remorseful and will write a letter of apology.Mendez’s defense during the guilt-innocence phase of the trial focused on the allegation that Pauda chased Ramirez with a knife during his assault.Ramirez told the court Pauda flew into a rage after an acquaintance teased him that she was being unfaithful to him.On Tuesday, the court heard Ramirez’s desperate 911 call during which she told the dispatcher Pauda was intoxicated and took cocaine that night. A police report states she told investigators Pauda chased her with a butcher knife after beating her and kicking her in the stomach.However, in court, Ramirez recounted Pauda’s attack that night but could not recall whether Pauda threatened her with a knife. She said she couldn’t recall if her statements to detectives and prosecutors included an allegation that Pauda pulled a knife on her. A Muslim man in Indiana walked into a Goodwill there and tried to get a woman, an employee, to convert to Islam. When the woman expressed that she had no wishes to convert to Islam, the Muslim went into a rage. Another woman stepped in, but the Muslim grabbed her by the throat and began beating her. He also charged at an officer in a rage, but was soon tasered. As we read from <a href="http://wishtv.com/2017/03/28/police-man-struck-officer-yelled-allah-akbah-in-goodwill-scuffle/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">one report:</a><blockquote>One man is facing charges after he struck an officer for attempting to restrain him following a commotion in Muncie.It happened just before 2 p.m. Saturday inside a Goodwill store when officers were responding to a call for a fight.Upon arrival, officials found 24-year-old Khalid Bilal confronting store employees.According to reports, Bilal then went on to break an officer’s hand after an attempt to place Bilal into custody.Bilal was later tased after charging another officer that arrived on scene. After the tasing, the officer was eventually able to corral Bilal into handcuffs. The suspect then began to kick the officer repeatedly with both legs, causing authorities to shackle his legs.Reports stated that Bilal was yelling “Allah Akbar” throughout the ordeal.One customer told 24-Hour News 8 she was scared for her life. She was inside the store shopping with her three children when she heard a man screaming at the front.“A guy had become very irate and was screaming at one of the employees and then grabbed him by the collar and start pushing him and screaming are you scared,” said Chasity Fraley, customer.“He was just so full of rage and violence I never seen anything like that before,” Fraley added.Not sure what was going on, Fraley said she began moving her kids.“We moved to a different aisle… so I could take my kids away from the situation because they got very scared at that point and then I heard him say ‘I’m going to kill everyone in here,”’ she said.That’s when Fraley says a female employee stepped in trying to calm the man down.“With her, she kinda used a softer tone with him at first, ‘let’s talk about this, what’s the matter can we take it outside,’” Fraley recalled.But out of nowhere, she said the man attacked that employee.“He violently grabbed her around the neck and just was punching and whatever he could to her,” she said. “A bunch of employees came out to keep him away from customers.”It is believed that Bilal had beaten a female worker at the store and grabbed her by the throat prior to officers’ arrival. Bilal reportedly had become upset while attempting to convert the employee to Islam.Fraley believes employees handled the situation very well.“They were protecting one another and protecting us they (did) an excellent job at keeping him in a somewhat secured area,” she said. “They were telling people to get back trying to protect people in the store and one another.”Police said the man was taken to the hospital and continued to attack officers when they tried to restrain him.Once at the hospital for treatment, Bilal went on to strike an officer three times when the officer attempted to secure a restraint that held Bilal to a hospital bed.He faces preliminary charges of battery on police, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct, battery with injury, intimidation and strangulation.Goodwill released a statement saying “Because of the actions of Goodwill store management and the Muncie police no one was injured. It is now a police matter and Goodwill is cooperating.
