Fake blood and body parts cover the street.In a photo from the event, one protestor is shown videotaping the “abortion” of the baby Jesus.</blockquote>This photo is western society today, both in what the people did and what did not happen to them.I have said many times before that the Western world has aborted God from itself. It is known that the "liberals" are proud to present themselves as evil people who openly support the vilest perversions that a man can think of. Nothing from them should come as a shock or surprise because like a the tale of the <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Farmer_and_the_Viper">Farmer and the Viper</a>, the chosen nature of the left is to embrace perversity as a part of how they define themselves. The same can be said of the Catholic and certain Protestant peoples of sub-Saharan Africa, who will attack and put to death such people in the streets who engage in and promote these acts in public. The fact is that in a competition between two sides of opposite value yet make claims of absolute truth, one is right and the other is wrong, or both are wrong and something else is true. It is intellectually dishonest to say that either side "rejects fighting" because both embrace it because they have to just as there is a spiritual war between God and those who hate God as the Bible has always taught. What matters is not the fighting, but so that you fight on the side of truth and justice, which is on the side of God and not the deviants.However, in the modern, "enlightened" western society, we see the opposite. Instead, the "respect" for people comes before any respect for God, and as such these people are allowed to commit the same violence against those who disagree with them out of their hatred for God, except that the violence is structured differently. Instead of public beatings and burning tires, they tell other people that it is their duty as "good Americans" to socially ostracist, fire from work, and harass up to and including attacking and killing the supposed "perpetrators," their family members, their children, and anybody who has any association with them in the name of their cause. At the current rate, it is possible that murder itself will be overlooked in the coming years if there is no change.Ultimately, as the Bible states, all men are either for God or they are against God, and their support or opposition is evidenced by their deeds. There is no such thing as a completely "neutral" position in the market of ideas over what constitutes truth because one choice is right and the either is a perversion of truth, or given a series of choices there is one that is most correct since God is all truth because nothing can be outside of God. This is why there is a Heaven and a hell- not because God wants people to be damned- but because man chooses whether or not he wants to be with God as evidenced by his words and actions.God came to earth to lead men to salvation, and salvation takes place through worshipping God as he desires to be worshipped and following the way that He desires us to follow. What these people did in Argentina is not merely opposition to the truth, but it is actively mocking it. Yet in spite of this mockery, I did not hear a word of people fighting against these men, making any form of active resistance, or even putting up any sort of fight. Instead, there seems to be just silence and possibly a few quiet prayers with private outrage on blogs across the Internet. While we have discussed at length the permissibility of homosexuality in Islam, there are many Muslims who do not like and will fight against homosexuality in their societies. While Islam is wrong, the natural law is written in the hearts of all men, and in this way the desire found among many Muslims to fight this speaks to the moral decline of the West is embracing this evil. Indeed, perhaps God is using the Muslims to judge the West for its love of the perverse.The Muslims are often criticized for their grotesque and barbaric violence that is evil and inhuman. However, something that cannot be said about the Muslims is that the people who do the violence are acting merely on selfish impuse. As we and many other people have shown time after time, the more pious a Muslim is the more he is likely to use violence to achieve his aims because as he accords himself to Islamic theology, which teaches the use of grotesque violence, he is just imitating what his religion teaches. Yet the same people who say "If I was living during those times I would not care I would save that child" are the same people who say "If I could kill Hitler I would have" while the likelihood is they would be cheering for both the pagan priest of old or giving the "Roman salute" to Hitler if they lived in those times.This is also another reason why the "pro-life" movement is such a joke in the West. We have discussed the unsightly underbelly of the pro-life movement before, but on a level of those who genuinely care for the welfare of the unborn, what progress has been made? Abortion has spread even further across America and the world, and the gains made for the most part have been overshadowed by the losses. They have not just been allowed to grow out of control, but they have been given the proverbial "keys" to the society, and the common people, having been brainwashed and dumbed down to be unable to critically think, they allow themselves to be herded like animals, obeying what they are told instead of thinking about whether or not what they are being told to do is actually the moral and right decision, for as the great saints and the Catholic Church has always taught, an immoral law is not a law and the only moral option is to disobey.Likewise, the Muslims are evil and are bringing their evils with them, but one thing for certain can be said about them, and that is if people such as these in the story tried doing anything to something Islamic, they would not have lived to have a news story written about it and the reason they would have done it is because they love and value Allah and Islam first. In that sense and while still wrong, the violence of the Muslims is at least being done because of something they believe in that is greater than man, whereas the West will use violence today to deify man's selfish will while suppressing the very God who gave man free will in the first place, and this problem starts with the common people who refuse to live in accordance with the faith they profess.

Make No Mistake, The Name Calling In Black American Discussion Circles Is Mirrored In American Politics And Is A Reflection Of The Lack Of Reasonable Discourse In Society As A Whole

In all societies there are "minority" groups which exist within the relative "majority." Because these groups are a "minority," while they do not always reflect the opinions of the greater society, the opinions and the effects of the opinions of the greater society are more strongly reflected in the actions and reactions of these minority groups because they are subject to the consequences of views held by those who they live around. As such, I believe it is important to pay close attention to the opinions of "minority" groups in American society, for among many things that one can see, by watching these groups one can get a closer view at the problems of the larger society as the problems already there will be magnified in the smaller groups. In the case of America, it is the Hispanic and black peoples.<iframe class='youtube-player' type='text/html' width='640' height='390' src='http://www.youtube.com/embed/x1aJhHZHQGU?version=3&rel=1&fs=1&autohide=2&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;'></iframe>One commentator I enjoy listening to frequently is a man by the name of David Carroll. From his location in the Cleveland, OH area he runs two YouTube and five Vimeo channels where he discusses issues pertaining to the breakdown of the black family structure and the antisocial behavior that is common in black communities today. While I do not agree with all of his points (he is a agnostic among several), he provides a thoughtful perspective on "black issues" that is seldom presented. One of the issues that he discusses a lot is what he terms the "soft, catty effeminate attitude of black men" who "were reared by single women and so they imitate what their mommas taught them."As David points out in many of his videos, and I have taken the time to view other "black commentators" online to see for myself, there is a trend to express anger in an uncontrolled, visceral way and then to lash out at the person making the comment instead of the idea being discussed. Now ad hominem attacks are common and for the most part characterize any debate no matter where one goes, but the level of such attacks has clearly reached a level that is beyond any sort of manageable level. As David points out in black circles, to present a reasoned thought is a rare act, and the modus operandi at all levels is to start calling people names such as "YOU'RE A  COON," "YOU'RE AN UNCLE TOM," or "YOU'RE A SELLOUT" while actually ignoring the points being discussed and using whatever available means are around to shut down his voice from having a place."Now the violence and dysfunction in black America is painfully and pitifully obvious. With most babies born to single women, illiteracy and ignorance accepted as normal and good, drug and alcohol abuse out of control, the rampant spread of sexually transmitted diseases, and social degeneracy praised as a model of behavior while order and common decency are scorned, it is no surprise that the average argument from the average person in black America would be nothing other than merely regurgitating the sewage these people have been nursed on for all their lives. To expect otherwise would be irrational.But is the discourse of contemporary black America really that different from the rest of America? Not really in terms of essence because the root sources of the dysfunction stems not from circumstances without, but from the dysfunction within the soul. As much as people do not want to admit it, politicians are a reflection of the heart of the people of their time because people elect those who reflect themselves. It is the reason why Jesus was killed, and why Christians are constantly warned that while they are "in the world" they must be on constant watch not to become "of the world," because the disorder in society is a reflection of the disorder of the people. This is one of the many products of a post-original sin world, and will persist until Christ returns. In this sense, there will always be dysfunction that will always have to be controlled in the same way that a gardener has to constantly watch his garden and uproot the weeds or pick off and destroy the malicious bugs and grubs that will come to feast on the tender plants he is trying to grow. However, that disorder was able to be contained, for the most part, within a certain range of behavior. Just like the liberals, when the platitudes that are given by "conservatives" in public discourse as an explanation of policy are criticized or questioned, the immediate response is to start criticizing and even calling people names. "Cuckholdry" likewise is a form of behavior, not having a difference of opinion. However, the use of these terms is not to address actual issues, but rather to draw attention away from them through the use of ad hominem attacks.It is very easy, no matter who one is or what a man's background is, to blame one's problems on another and to attack another man's character instead of the opinions he is presenting. Indeed, one should expect that anybody who has a public opinion also opens himself up to public criticism, including that of his person. This is just expected and should be accepted as normal because it is. It is a unique and beautiful place to be, because even though we are tarnished by original sin, God not only became man so that we might become like God through the sacrifice at Calvary, but He has endowed up with free will and a mind that is able to act and think independently so that we might choose to love God and find true happiness within Him.One of the struggles of humanity throughout the ages is that between man's angelic and animal sides because of original sin. Like the battle against bugs in the garden, it is a constant struggle that must be continually worked at. However, man is supposed to work to strive to be like the angels, imitating God in his acts and works instead of allowing himself to submit to acting like an animal, driven by base passions and not his true nature, and this is only possible in faithful obedience to Christ no matter how difficult a situation may be.It is easy to point fingers at others, such as the debased situation in black America, to show how far society has debased. However, the reality is that the situation in black America is for the most part an amplified reflection of the disorder in the larger society that is just magnified because they are a smaller segment of the population as opposed to the rest that while hidden from direct view is made clear in that the language of popular political speech is the same as that between minority groups arguing about similar issues in their own context. In summary, American Christianity is rapidly disappearing, having lost its social strength and becoming a target of scorn and rejection by the greater society. In his view, Christians need to adopt a "Benedict option." Named in honor of <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/02467b.htm">St. Benedict of Nursia</a>, the patron saint of Europe and exorcists, Christians need to form small communities in which to transmit and pass down their faith as the greater society around them dissolves just as Christians of the world of antiquity did:<blockquote> Millennials, even those who identify as Christian, are shockingly illiterate, both in terms of what the Bible says and more generally regarding what Christianity teaches. I trust you don’t need me to repeat again Christian Smith’s findings showing that Moralistic Therapeutic Deism — a bland, undemanding, non-specific religion parasitic on Christianity — has taken over US religious institutions and has displaced authentic Christianity, especially among the young....In my own informal conversations with college professors — both progressive and conservative, and both at Christian and secular institutions of higher learning — this finding has been abundantly confirmed. The ignorance is so widespread and profound that most of their students don’t even know what they don’t know. Which leads us to:If we lose the middle and upper classes, we lose the church. For various reasons, churchgoing in America is primarily something that educated middle and upper class Americans do. Charles Murray, among others, has highlighted research showing that the working class has largely abandoned church. If Christianity is to survive in the US, it cannot afford to lose middle class Americans. Of course Christianity must especially be for the poor and working classes, but at this point in its history in the US, the poor and working classes have already left, and the middle classes are hemorrhaging.College is (at least for now) a common middle class experience. They are well reasoned and thought provoking.But I'll give a simpler and more daunting reason why "American Christianity" is collapsing. That reason is because "American Christianity" is a social religion. It is a product of and subject to the spirit of the times in which it lives, existing an independent organism with a false conception of its very self. It is unique in that it is a product of a revolution that is ongoing, changing with each generation but always connecting itself back to the "early church" and then the Protestant revolution that bore it while skipping over the 13 centuries from Constantine to Luther.Characterized by an anti-authority mindset on one hand and an insular view on the other, it gives rise to countless sects that all claim to be the true “church” that represents most accurately the teachings and will of Christ. They will teach from the same Bible and claim that the same Holy Spirit is constantly speaking to them, elucidating and clarifying the truths that have not changed for two millennia, and they will all call each other Christians and part of the same “church”, which they identify as the “body of Christ” that is constituted of anybody who associates himself with the name of “Christian.” Yet these same “Christians” fight and constantly split over small points of doctrine or discipline, forming new congregations and claiming authority over each other from the same Bible with absolute ruthlessness. The result is an ineffective, weak, flaccid Christianity defined by platitudes that attempt to make the problem of doctrine and heresy without addressing it while fighting over these same issues in a way that is a fruitless and destructive as a cock fight.The weak point of American evangelicalism is this lack of unity in any sense, for while these same people will universally agree they are not Catholic or support “the Pope,” each man is able to crown himself his own self-appointed pope by his own authority. This is a major issue that cannot be avoided. However, the way that they will attempt to compensate for this is to, as mentioned above, say that we are all just “mere Christians” (referring to the title of C.S. Lewis’ book, Mere Christianity,) and say that differences really do not matter in the greater understanding of what it means to be a Christians because we all are “believers in Christ.” The effects of this compensation are compounded by two factors. First, is by teaching in their “seminaries” about “Christian history” that is almost always filtered through secondary and tertiary sources, learning about events from people who have written about said events and not consulting the primary sources from which the record of said events derived. Second, is by appealing to the cultural and social feelings of the times, usually through popular music and cultural idioms, to generate positive emotions that people then attach to their particular church or pastor, leading to the phenomenon of “pastors” who have cult-like followings and mega-churches which collapse soon after that pastor dies or in embroiled in a scandal, after which said people move on to a new “church.”<iframe class='youtube-player' type='text/html' width='640' height='390' src='http://www.youtube.com/embed/D2BXeZCDTgA?version=3&rel=1&fs=1&autohide=2&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;'></iframe>The full lyrics to the song Our God is an Awesome God. While there are many well-intentioned people, the foundation these people are given for their faith is inherently faulty, based on an emotional appeal and lacking in any sort of tradition.The combination of these three issues- a lack of unity, a lack of historicity, and an appeal to the senses- form a religious outlook that is as attractive to the senses, delicious on initial taste, and unfulfilling and deadly to one’s spiritual health as a plate deep-fried oreos is to your physical health. American “Christianity” is shallow and allows a man to believe as he wants. With a focus on emotions and a “personal encounter with Christ,” the person’s feelings are lifted and given guide over his intellect when it should be the other way around. With a lack of historicity, the traditions of the past are not transmitted, but created in the image of the times they represent. Thus the “early church” so often spoken about by “Christians” mirrors in certain congregations the “old tyme religion” of late 19th century American revivalism, the "holiness" sects of the early 20th century, the conservatism of the 1950s, the rock-concert style “church services” of the 1980s, or the sharp-dressed prosperity gospel preachers of the current times. It is the manufacture of history in the image of contemporary American culture, imposing the view of the present on a culture, place, and in a time completely alien to the people they claim to share a connection with.<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/freemaonsrysymbol.png"><img alt="" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-109420" height="229" src="http://shoebat.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/freemaonsrysymbol.png" width="220" /></a>While there are many American Evangelicals who oppose Freemasonry, it is not a surprise that Freemasonry has a rich following in very "Christian" areas of America, such as the Bible Belt. Likewise, it is also why apostolic Christians always tended to favor monarchs and the monarchies.These varying and contradictory, warring ideas have always been present in American Christianity and because of the lack of any ability to articulate and define a clear authority about what to teach, which is something that it cannot do because each person claims to have equal authority to define the same teachings, then there can be no clear definition as to what is right and wrong and who can correctly interpret what Jesus taught. This is also the reason why the Catholic Church has always been at the best tolerated, and very often despised throughout American history.Now it is only fair that at the same time in mentioning the evangelical Protestant sects, one also address the dire situation of the Catholic Church in the United States. Having been highly influenced post Vatican II by a desire to become like the world instead of standing in resistance to it (which was a major criticism of the encyclicals Gaudium et Spes and the infamous Rerum Novarum). This desire to become "Americanized" is a huge problem and has caused much of the scandal, heresy, and problems in the Church in America in the past and today. At this time in the fourth century AD, 90% of the bishops and about 75% of the laity were Arians in the Catholic Church. This is a good model for our current times because like then, the Catholic Church is infected today with heretics and apostasy. However, what differentiates the Church from the evangelical congregations is that the Church is established by Christ, and just like with Arianism, she will eventually purge the heretics and apostasy from her ranks by the grace of God and will re-emerge stronger than ever. The evangelicals, unfortunately, because they were not founded by Christ, lack both the grace and the authority to do this purge, and they will either be folded back into the one truth Faith or they will simply apostatize and return to a pre-Christian state.But the current situation of the Church today does not reflect on its teachings, because as the Church has always taught, dogma cannot change because it comes from God even if the majority of people deny it, such as with the Arian crisis of the 4th century. If one looks beyond the outlandish criticism and phony conspiracy theories promoted by anti-Catholic writers throughout the centuries and the well-meaning but genuinely misguided attempts of ignorant evangelicals who think they have to "save Catholics because they are not Christians", one finds that in the minds of the intelligent people- those who know and understand something of sacred scripture and tradition- the resistance is not because they do not believe or understand, but it is because they are arrogant and do not want to submit to proper authority. In the words of one evangelical Christian I was conversing with about this issue, who could not dispute the lack of authority and genuinely knew something of Church history and tradition, he said that he would rather be an evangelical than submit because "the Protestants were always rebels and I've always been a rebel too."<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/james-white-copy.jpg"><img alt="" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-109426" height="161" sizes="(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" src="http://shoebat.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/james-white-copy-300x161.jpg" srcset="http://shoebat.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/james-white-copy-300x161.jpg 300w, http://shoebat.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/james-white-copy.jpg 642w" width="300" /></a>I have only two words to say about this: <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="/2016/02/10/92946/">James White</a>But  regardless of the Evangelical resistance to the Catholic Church, their lack of historicity, apostolicity, and authority and the fruit they bear of a shallow, emotional, sociocultural "Christianity" cannot be hidden, just ignored. Eventually, enough people- especially the children of said people who during their formative years are most likely to rebel against what their parents taught them- will take note of this emptiness. While some will follow as their parents, some leave the Church for the Catholics or the Orthodox in pursuit of something more substantial and real. Most leave the Evangelicals all together and do not come back, associating Christianity with their experiences from growing up.Since their conception of Christianity is immutably tied to their understanding of the society, while certainly it can evolve, it will become something not at all like what it was before, forever changed and re-shaped by the times in which they live. In most cases, such extreme changes cannot be tolerated and the system collapses under the stress, which is what one sees happening right now. If that were not enough, the issue of grace and authority will destroy it, because whereas the Catholic Church possesses the grace and authority from Christ given to St. Peter, it does not matter what evils befall or infect it because God's hand is on her as per sacred scripture and tradition. This is why the Church has been able to endure revolutions, wars, the rise and fall of entire civilizations, and at times the most horrible leadership examples ever given in human history yet somehow miraculously does not collapse- because she is God's Church that like the ark of Noah in ages past will bring those who gather into and stay with her to salvation while the rest of the world around her perishes.Now I do feel compassion for the Evangelicals, for they are lost and confused and for good reason. Some of them regret what has happened with the current state of American Christianity, and long for the days of "old time religion."
