After investigating the source, it came originally from Bibles For Mideast operated by Paul Ciniraj. It wasn't just this story, but I found that all of Ciniraj's stories from India to be completely unverifiable. I checked every story by Ciniraj and found them all to be miraculous in nature. It is not that miracles do not happen, but there needs to be enough evidence (hospital names, locations, validations of parts of the incidents, other media sources etc ...) to believe such claims. When we found others who were involved in investigating such stories (<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://archive.indianexpress.com/news/sopore-girls-part-of-christian-group-says-kerala-evangelist/748785/1">see here</a>), in this example the police were involved and they denied any truth to Ciniraj's claims. The ministry (Bible For Mideast) which claims to operate in sending bibles to the Muslim Middle East from India sounds unusual since the Middle East is not short of bibles. Bible shortages is past history during communism and many use such claims which work on western audience unfamiliar with the Middle East. There is no reliable evidence for Bibles For Mideast to be operating from India in the Middle East. They demanded that she convert to Islam, and she refused to. Currently, the young girl is struggling for her life.According to Bible for Mideast, a ministry that operates in the Middle East, Asia and Africa by giving away Bibles, evangelizing the lost and planting churches, Lydia was targeted for her faith, as she "boldly proclaimed Jesus as the Son of God" and "loved to speak of how He died on the cross of Calvary and rose from the dead to save everyone from sin and death."Her father, originally from another part of Africa, had been a Muslim scholar who converted to Christianity after having a vision of Jesus Christ. Due to severe persecution in their native village, however, the entire family had to flee to their current home.The local Muslim community recently learned Yoonus had left Islam and was now leading Muslims to Christ. Angered, the Imam of the local mosque, along with community leaders, urged him to return to Islam and promised to give him gifts if he rejected Christianity. However, Yoonus and his family refused to renounce their faith, resulting in increased persecution.Bibles for Mideast has asked the international community to continue to pray for Yoonus and Lydia, the believers in West Africa, and the medical staff looking after her. In another recent story, four Christians were arrested and while being tortured in prison, one of the guards assigned to them had not just one, but four visions of Jesus in which He asked him why His children were being tortured. The guard then not only helped the four Christians escape, but he too abandoned Islam and turned to Christ;<blockquote>Two pastors and two new believers in the Middle East w9ho were sent to prison for their faith received favor from a jail officer whom Jesus visited four times in a dream.The two pastors were reportedly giving Bible lessons to the two new believers when police barged into their room and beat them all before taking them into custody.The new believers had started attending the underground church just six months before the arrest. The pastors were working with Bibles for Mideast, a ministry that operates in the Middle East, Asia and Africa by giving away Bibles, evangelizing the lost and planting churches.Bibles for Mideast has helped establish 176 underground churches, 103 of which are in the Middle East. These churches have been turned over to the newly formed church called Assembly of Loving God.The two pastors and the two new believers were charged with "blasphemy of the prophet" and "misguiding Muslims into a false religion." They were found guilty in a sharia court.When they were sent to prison, they were again brutally beaten for two days while their hands were tied to a steel bar and their backs were bent forward. The jailers gave them just one piece of a local bread called kuboos each day. The experience was agonizing.One of the pastors said none of them thought they would still come out of prison alive and that they were already anticipating a death sentence. Yet, though they were tortured, they found comfort in remembering what Jesus went through and they began to confess, "The blood of Jesus is our victory!"Bibles for Mideast, which was unable to get information regarding the condition of the four Christians since they were taken into custody, sent out an urgent call for prayer and fasting for the protection and release of the four Christians.Unknown to them, God was already moving behind the scenes. On their third day in prison, the four Christians were visited by a high-ranking jail officer. He treated them well and ordered the jailer to untie their hands and give them good food. After that, he left and disappeared into his office.The four Christian prisoners were baffled by the officer's kind treatment."We thought, he came with a decision of finishing our life of this world. That's why treating us like this," one of the pastors said.The officer came to their cell again in the evening — and surprised them all when he asked them to pray for him.As it turned out, he had a dream about Jesus the previous week. The Lord visited him in a dream, appearing in glory and seated on a throne. Bright light surrounded Him, and millions of angels were at His bidding. Jesus raised His nail-pierced hand and showed it to the jail officer.The officer had the same dream again the following night, and the night after that. His dreams drew him to know more about Jesus so he read about Him on the Internet.The next evening, he had another dream. Jesus appeared to him once more and told him, "My children are being tortured in your jail. I leave them before you. My children are the apple of my eyes."That was when he decided to visit the jail and see the four believers. He stayed there three days, spending most of his time talking to them about Jesus. They shared the gospel to him and he received Jesus as his Lord and Savior.The jail officer wrote an order to release the four Christians. It was initially rejected by the court, but it was finally granted after he filed an appeal. So all four of them were set free.The officer invited them to his "cottage" in the prison upon their release, where they were given good food. He then requested that he be baptized. The two pastors baptized him along with the two new believers.Then he took them in his car and drove them back to their homes. He encouraged them to continue their work for God and warned them to be careful.The four believers were thankful to those who prayed for them."We thank for those who were fasting and praying for us," one of the pastors said. "Our Lord Jesus Christ is worthy to be praised. All glory and honour to Him forever and ever!" He was charged under Section 295-A, deliberate and malicious acts intending to outrage religious feelings, which carries a sentence of 10 years of prison and/or a fine, and under Section 298, derogatory remarks against “holy personages,” punishable by three years’ imprisonment and/or fine.Police raided Masih’s house on Jan. 28 and took his entire family into custody, an area source told Morning Star News.“The police took with them Masih, his son, daughter, and three children,” he said. “The family was later released on the intervention of rights outfits, but Masih was detained under blasphemy charges.”The source said that the charges against Masih were fabricated by local Muslims seeking to seize his property. Hussain and other accusers were unavailable for comment, and Masih’s relatives have gone into hiding and were also unavailable.The investigating officer refused repeated requests for comment, citing orders from his superiors.Also on Jan. 28, an Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore acquitted 106 Muslims accused of a massive attack on Joseph Colony, sparked by a blasphemy accusation in March 2013, after prosecution witnesses said they did not recognize any of the accused assailants.More than 80 prosecution witnesses, 63 of them with statements recorded about the attack that destroyed more than 150 homes, said they did not recognize the accused. The 106 suspects, who were released on bail the day they were accused, appeared before judge Muhammad Azam.On March 9, 2013, thousands of rioters armed with sticks, clubs and stones besieged Joseph Colony and torched the houses in the predominantly Christian neighborhood following allegations of blasphemy against a Christian, Sawan Masih.The mob also torched three church buildings, several shops and a number of vehicles. Police later arrested both the rioters and the blasphemy suspect, who was charged under Section 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) for derogatory remarks about Muhammad, which mandates the death penalty.Sawan Masih was sentenced to death on March 28, 2014. His appeal against the conviction is pending in the Lahore High Court. But his brother, mother, aunt and uncle were arrested in his place and told they would not be released until he returned.So on November 6 Prince handed himself in to the police station where he says he was tortured repeatedly."The police were on the verge of killing me after I surrendered to them, but God kept me safe by His grace," he said according to WWM."When I came to my senses [after one round of torture], I was told that a heavy machine would be rolled over my thighs, which would not only be painful but would render me permanently impotent."Then the deputy superintendent of police pushed the barrel of a pistol into my mouth and told me to confess that I had written abusive words in the book. He said he would count to three and that if I didn't confess, he would pull the trigger."On one occasion he was told he was free to go."But I knew they were lying and would shoot me from behind if I left," he said. "I told them that if you want to shoot me, then shoot me in the chest and not in the back. In shock, the man's two accomplices quickly fled the scene. After the girl released her grip, the would-be robber ran after them, "without saying a word," Il Giorno reported.The girl reported the incident to a family member when she arrived home, who took her to a police station.Local police, who are investigating a wave of similar incidents, are currently trying to identify the three suspects, who are thought to be immigrants from North Africa.
