Trump: It’s a ‘Great Compliment’ for Obama to Say I Won’t Be President

At a campaign event this evening, Donald Trump reacted to President Obama stating that <a href="http://insider.foxnews.com/2016/02/16/obama-says-donald-trump-wont-be-president-because-he-has-faith-americans">Trump won’t win the presidency</a>.
“I continue to believe Mr. Trump will not be president,” Obama said, responding to a question about the GOP field. “And the reason is because I have a lot of faith in the American people. I think they recognize it’s a serious job. It’s not hosting a talk show or a reality show. It’s not promotion, it’s not marketing. It’s hard.”
Speaking to a crowd in Beaufort, South Carolina, Trump had some strong words for the president.

“He has done such a lousy job as president,” Trump said to cheers. “You look at our budgets, you look at our spending, we can’t beat ISIS, ObamaCare is terrible – we’re going to terminate it.”
“Our borders are like Swiss cheese. This man has done such a bad job. He has set us back so far. And for him to say that is actually a great compliment, if you want to know the truth.”
Trump added that Obama is lucky that he didn’t have to run against Trump in 2012, because he would have been a one-term president.

The historic talks between Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and Pope Francis in Cuba, which were  the first meeting since Christianity split into western and eastern branches in 1054. The two discussed a number of issues, including persecution of Christians in the Middle East. (1)
Many ask whether the two will unite since the Western and Eastern Christian churches split over persistent theological disputes in 1054—and formally separated in 1438. The Eastern faction later became known as Orthodox Church — which now has 15 separate and equal congregations, Russian Orthodox being the largest.
So what do we make of this meeting? Will the two unite? There are more issues to discern than the theological differences between the two and one needs to be balanced when we examine some other issues.  As much as I disagree with Pope Francis on many issues, I also disagree with Patriarch Kirill when he <a href="http://myocn.net/four-principles-patriarch-kirill-islam-western-immorality-interfaith-dialogue/">says</a>:

“I cannot get rid of the idea that the “Arabic Spring” and the emergence of Muslim radical military forces, who commit public executions, are aimed at demonizing Islam in the eyes of the world community”.
“It is not possible to imagine a more terrible ‘service’ to Islam that what they [IS militants] are providing. The images that the whole world sees on television — they destroy any positive image of Islam,” Kirill <a href="http://www.rferl.org/content/russian-patriarch-islamic-state-discredits-islam/26858513.html">said</a>, according to the TASS news agency.

This would sound no different than of what the Muslim apologist would say. And even when it comes to Muslim immigration into the West, Kirill stated: “Unlike the West, which is already nervous about the arrival of refugees, Moscow alone has taken in more Muslims than the whole of Europe has done by now. And nobody in the world is aware of it. And there is no hysteria, no police, no gas, no physical clashes,” <a href="http://www.pravmir.com/west-should-learn-from-russia-to-accept-muslim-refugees-patriarch-kirill/">the patriarch said</a> at a meeting with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.

Likewise is Pope Francis who is trying to build stronger ties with this very Islamic heresy <a href="http://www.themalaymailonline.com/malaysia/article/ahead-of-aidilfitri-pope-calls-for-muslim-christian-reciprocity">said</a>:
<blockquote>
Turning to mutual respect in inter-religious relations, especially between Christians and Muslims, we are called to respect the religion of the other, its teachings, its symbols, its values
</blockquote>
While one should respect the other person who is not Christian, this is by far different from respecting the “teachings” of the Muslim.
I don’t see anywhere in the Scriptures, nor in the teachings of the Church Fathers, respect toward false religions.
What many Christians (both Catholic and non-Catholic) need to understand, is that respect toward Islamic teachings is not a part of the original tenets of the Church in regards to Islam. In 1376 the Catholic scholar Niocalu Eymeric, wrote that anyone who believed in Muhammad was a heretic:

“Whoever invokes the aid of Mohammed, even if he does nothing else, falls into manifest heresy. So does anyone who in his honor constructs an altar to him. In similar cases the same thing may be said of invoking any demon, building him an altar, sacrificing to him, etc.” (2)
</blockquote>
Pope Calixtus III, in the 15th Century, said:

Further, I vow to deliver the Christians languishing in slavery, to exalt the true Faith, and to extirpate the diabolical sect of the reprobate and faithless Mahomet of the East. For there the light of faith is almost completely extinguished. If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand be forgotten. Let my tongue cleave to my jaws, if I do not remember thee. If I make not Jerusalem the beginning of my joy, God and His holy Gospel help me. Amen. (3)

Pope Francis used the name of Saint Francis of Assisi as his pontifical title, well, lets look at how Francis himself saw Islam. During St. Louis’ Crusade, the nation’s sultan, Al-Malik al-Kamil, (4) payed his troops to decapitate Christians. When the Crusaders were trying to take the city of Damietta in Egypt, jihadist warriors would enter their camps at night to behead them as they slept. The lord of Courtenay’s sentry was butchered and his body found laying on a table without a head. (5) The Muslims, after beheading so many Christians, hung the heads around the walls of Cairo. When the Egyptian emirs wished to make a truce with the Crusaders, king Louis told them that he would not make any terms of peace unless they first took down all of the hanging heads of the Christians, and give back all of the Christian boys whom they kidnapped and forced to convert to Islam; the demand was fulfilled. (6)
It was to this ruthless sultan that a short, scruffy and zealous Italian named Francis of Assisi confronted. Some of the Crusaders thought him mad, while many looked upon him with admiration. He came to al-Kamil with the intention of converting him to Christianity and thus ending the war. He walked toward the sultan with his companion Illuminato, singing, “Though I walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me.” Illuminato’s mind was unsettled, and to comfort him Francis cried out joyously, “Courage, brother! …Put your trust in Him who sends us forth like sheep in the midst of wolves.”
The Muslim soldiers seized the saint and Illuminato and beat them. As the Saint received the blows he cried out with the best of his ability to the sultan, “Soldan! Soldan!” They were then chained and brought before the sultan. St. Francis implored al-Kamil to turn to Christ, an act punished by death under Sharia, asking him to “consent to become converted to Christ together with your people.”
St. Francis too was committing a capital offense; for just five months after this meeting five Franciscan friars were put to death in Morocco for proselytizing. St. Francis asked the sultan to bring a sheikh and light up a furnace; whoever survived the flames had the true God. It was a test reminiscent to what occurred to the three Jews in Nebuchadnezzar’s furnace.
“Let a great furnace be lit,” proclaimed the Saint, “Your priests and I will enter it; and you shall judge by what you see which of our two religions is the holiest and truest.”
The sheikh fled, and the sultan replied: “I greatly fear that my priest will refuse to accompany you into the furnace”. “Since that is the way things are,” replied Francis, “I will enter the fire alone. If I perish, you must lay it to my sins. But if God’s power protects me, do you promise to acknowledge Christ as the true God and Savior?” The sultan affirmed that no matter the result he would never leave Islam. But he greatly admired the friar’s courage and offered him gifts before his leaving.
“Take them at least to give to the poor!” urged Saint Francis. As he left, with grief in his heart, seeing that his aspiration was not accomplished, the sultan begged him with these words: “Remember me in your prayers, and may God, by your intercession, reveal to me which belief is more pleasing to Him.” (5)
So, as we can see, respect towards Islamic teachings is not Catholic or Orthodox, it is not Biblical, and it is really a heresy unto itself.
The Catholic Church may not be declaring war on Islam, but Islam is sure declaring war on the Catholic Church. Catholics throughout Pakistan and the rest of Asia are being oppressed and persecuted by Muslims.
But the solution for these errors made by both Pope Francis and Kirill will be corrected in the future as the persecution by Islam will intensify when the Antichrist arises. It will only be then that the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church will revive its crusading spirit and make a fierce stance toward Islam.
However, Kirill does not take the same stance when it comes to the homosexual agenda. In August 2013 he declared same sex marriage to be a sign of the impending Apocalypse and urged people to do more to combat the rise of gay rights.
“This is a very dangerous apocalyptic symptom, and we must do everything in our powers to ensure that sin is never sanctioned in Russia by state law, because that would mean that the nation has embarked on a path of self-destruction”, the <a href="http://www.christianpost.com/news/russian-orthodox-patriarch-calls-gay-marriage-legalization-apocalyptic-symptom-100701/" target="_blank">Christian Post </a>quoted him as saying.
“We face enormous temptations when countries start approving sin and codifying it into law in order to justify it,” he added.
An exclusive interview to RT’s Ed Schultz Patriarch Kirill stressed the importance of his meeting with Pope Francis in Cuba, which he said came “at the right time.”
“I strongly believe that we should work together in order to save our society from de-Christianization – because, facing increasing atheistic pressure, which has become quite aggressive in some countries, Christians are being squeezed out of public life. In a sense, we may say that Christians feel uncomfortable in many developed countries today. Christians are under pressure,” Kirill told RT broadcaster.
“Despite their differences, the Russian Orthodox church sees its closest ally in Catholicism now,” said Sergei Filatov, a religion expert at the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow.
On many major theological issues Catholics and Russian Orthodox Christians remain closely aligned.

As this “refugee” crisis worsens, Chancellor Merkel’s true intentions will be revealed more clearly, as they were in this incident. Never before in recent history has Germany outright threatened Britain with even a minor conflict, let alone a trade war. The following conversation took place in Holland and if this continues, history will repeat itself again. From the <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3446048/Fury-Angela-Merkel-s-attack-dog-threatens-UK-trade-war-Brexit-claims-t-survive-without-us.html">UK Daily Mail</a>:
Mr Krichbaum and Sir Bill had a sharp but courteous disagreement during a meeting in The Hague on Monday, but the gloves came off when they argued face-to-face afterwards. Mr Krichbaum, seen by some as Mrs Merkel’s anti-Cameron ‘attack dog’, claimed Britain’s economy would be devastated as a result of lost EU trade deals, saying: ‘You won’t be able to survive, trading conditions will not be in your favour.’

While Christianity in general has disappeared in many parts from Western Europe, there are still many Christians left in Eastern Europe. Indeed many eastern  nations have been attacked, but they still have plenty of faith left and drawing upon this same faith, they have been coming out against Islam, the Muslim “refugees,” and are even giving public honor to God and His Church while attacking the filth oozing out of what is left of Western Europe.
In another wonderful move, six Eastern European nations have got together and are discussing how to stop the Islamic invasion currently taking place in Europe. From the <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3447858/Czech-Republic-Slovakia-Hungary-Poland-meet-discuss-creating-blockade-stop-migrants-arriving-Greece.html">UK Daily Mail</a>:
Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland are to meet today to discuss creating a blockade to stop the influx of migrants arriving from Greece.
Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said the countries – known collectively as the Visegrad group – were ready to help Balkan countries seal their borders.
The leaders of Bulgaria and Macedonia will also attend the meeting in Prague.
But they fear that could change if Europe’s external borders stay porous, or if Germany – the main destination – were to close its own borders.
Germany has raised objections to the plan, saying that sealing Balkan borders with Greece could undermine its own approach to the crisis.

I want to like Pope Francis. I want to support his statements because he is the head of the Church. However, I have a lot of problems with a lot of things he does.
I know there are a lot of people who look at Pope Francis, Catholic or not, and say “What is he doing?” Too many questions, not enough answers. I don’t have definitive answer, but I do have some ways of weighing how to respond, and this is one of them.

The question then is, what can be done during the time of a calamitous Pope. What behavior is conveniently adopted in times like this. Well then, since recently lists of tips have become common, to achieve joy, to lower cholesterol, to try to be more positive, to stop smoking, to get thinner, I will allow myself to propose to the reader a series of tips in order to survive a calamitous Pope without stopping being Catholic. I should not have to say that it is not a definitive list. But it may be useful anyhow. Let us begin:
(1) Keep calm. In moments of anguish, the tendency to hysteria is only too human, but it solves nothing. Calm down. Because only by way of calm can the convenient decisions for each case be taken, and the words and deeds one might soon regret can be avoided.
(2) Read good books on the history of the Church and the history of the papacy. Used that we are to a series of great Popes, living through a calamitous pontificate can be a traumatic experience, if one does not manage to put it into context. Reading good tomes on the history of the Church and on the history of the papacy helps to analyze in a better way an ongoing situation. Above all because in these books other cases are shown – numerous cases, unfortunately, or just because that is the way human nature is – in which the waters of the Roman source looked murky. The Church suffers from such weaknesses, but does not collapse because of them. It happened like this in the past, and we can expect it also to happen in the present and in the future.
(3) Do not give in to apocalyptic warnings. When some are subjected to the ravages of a calamitous pontificate, they take them as signs of the imminence of the end times. It is a concept that always comes up in such circumstances: apocalyptic passages motivated by similar evils can also be read in texts by medieval authors. But this fact should precisely serve to us as a warning. It does not make much sense to interpret each storm as if it were the Great Tribulation. The end times will come when they have to come, and it does not belong to us to know neither the day nor the hour. Our job is to fight the combat of our own age, but the global view of things belongs to Someone else.
(4) Do not stay silent, nor look away. During a calamitous pontificate, the defect that is the opposite one of adopting the behavior of an apocalyptic prophet is that of minimizing events, being silent when faced with abuse, and looking away. Some justify this attitude by recalling the image of the good sons who covered the nakedness of Noah. But what is certain is that there is no way of righting the course of a ship if the deviation is not revealed. Moreover, Sacred Scripture has an example that is much more appropriate than Noah’s: the hard yet just and loyal reproaches made by the apostle Paul to the pontiff Peter, when the latter let himself be taken in by human concerns. This episode of the Acts of the Apostles is there so that we learn to distinguish loyalty from silent complicity. The Church is not a party in which the chairman must always get unconditional applause. Neither is it a sect whose leader is acclaimed at every moment. The Pope is not the leader of a sect, but a servant of the Gospel and of the Church; a free and human servant who, as such, can occasionally adopt reprehensible decisions or attitudes. And reprehensible decisions and attitudes must be reprehended.
(5) Do not generalize. The bad example (of cowardliness, of careerism, etc) of some bishops and cardinals during a calamitous pontificate should not lead us to disqualify in a general way all bishops, cardinals, or clerics. Each person is responsible for his own words, his own actions, and his own omissions. But the hierarchical structure of the Church was instituted by her Founder, due to which it must be respected, despite every criticism. The objection to a calamitous Pope should not extend to all his words and deeds. Only those that deviate from the immemorial doctrine of the Church, or which set a direction that may compromise aspects of said doctrine. And the opinion on these points must not be based on private events, opinions, or preferences: the teaching of the Church is summarized in her catechism. When the Pope moves away from the catechism, he must be criticized. Not in other matters.
(6) Do not help initiatives for the greater glory of the calamitous pontiff. If a calamitous Pope asks for help for good works, he must be heard. But other initiatives should not be supported, such as, for instance, multitudinous meetings that serve to show him as a popular pontiff. In the case of a calamitous Pope, acclamation is unnecessary. Because, based in them, he might feel supported to deviate the course of the Church’s ship even more. It is not good enough, then, to say that it is not the Pontiff, but Peter, who is being applauded, Because the result will be that this applause will be used for the personal ends not of Peter but of the calamitous Pontiff.
(7) Do not follow the instructions of the Pope in that which deviates from the treasure of the Church. If a Pope would teach doctrines or would try to impose practices that do not correspond to the perennial teaching of the Church, summarized in the catechism, he cannot be supported nor obeyed in his intent. This means, for example, that priests and bishops are under the obligation to insist on traditional doctrine and practice, rooted in the deposit of the faith, even at the cost of exposing themselves to being punished. The lay faithful must likewise insist on teaching traditional doctrine and practices in their area of influence. Under no circumstances, not even out of blind obedience or fear of reprisals, is it acceptable to contribute to the spreading of heterodoxy or heteropraxis.
(8) Do not financially support collaborationist dioceses. If a Pope would teach doctrines, or would impose practices, that do not correspond to the perennial teaching of the Church, summarized in the catechism, diocesan Pastors should serve as a wall of contention. But history shows that bishops do not always react with sufficient energy when faced with these dangers. Even worse, they at times endorse, for whichever reasons, the efforts of the calamitous pontiff. The lay faithful who lives in a diocese ruled by such a Pastor must therefore remove his financial support to his local church while the inappropriate situation persists. Obviously, this does not apply to aids that are directly destined to charitable ends, but it does apply to all the rest. This also applies to any kind of collaboration with the diocese, whether it be for example some kind of volunteer work or institutional position.
(9) Do not support any schism. When faced with a calamitous Pope, the temptation of a radical rupture may come up. This temptation must be resisted at all costs. A Catholic has the duty to try to minimize, from within the Church, all the negative effects of a bad pontificate, but without breaking the Church or breaking with the Church. This means that even if, for instance, his resistance to adopt some theses or some practices would lead to the application for him of penalties, he must not as a consequence initiate a new schism nor support any of those already in place. It is necessary for him to keep being a Catholic under any circumstances.
(10) Pray. The permanence and salvation of the Church does not ultimately depend on ourselves, but on the One who wanted her and created her for our good. In moments of distress, it is necessary to pray, pray, and pray, so that the Master will wake up and calm the storm. This tip was placed last, not because it is the least important, but because it is the most important of all. Because ultimately what matters is that we truly believe that the Church is supported by a God who loves her, and who will not allow her to be destroyed. Let us pray, therefore, for the conversion of nefarious pontiffs, and so that calamitous pontificates may be followed by pontificates of restoration and peace. Many dry branches will have been lost during the storm, but the ones that remained united with Christ will bloom again. May God allow this to be declared also about us.

Russian comedians Vladimir Krasnov and Alexy Stolyarov have a reputation in Russia for prank calling high profile figures. Targets they have successfully trolled in the past include former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klichko, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko,  even US Military Commander Kevin McNeely and UK Singer Elton John.

The conversation lasted for 13 minutes, and in the exchange, they got President Erdogan to agree to or reveal the following:
-To agree to a ground and naval blockade of Crimea against Russia
-To support the Crimean Tartars against Russia (Crimean Tartars are Muslims that arrived around the 13th century and have been a continual source of rebellion)
-That he would “never ever” apologise for shooting down the Russian bomber plane in November 2015 on the Syrian border
From <a href="https://www.rt.com/news/332338-erdogan-russian-pranksters-call/">Russia Today</a>:
An unnamed Turkish official has denied that the telephone conversation with Erdogan ever took place, denouncing the pranksters’ claims as “fake.” 
“I know nothing of such [telephone] call… The president [Erdogan] cannot be reached so easily. I believe it is a fake, as special communication channels as well as special procedures are used for such negotiations,” a source in the Turkish president’s office told RIA Novosti.
However, the pranksters themselves say there are many different ways to reach a targeted person, adding that Erdogan was “neither the first nor the last” high-level official they have managed to get through to for an interview on the radio station Govorit Moskva (Moscow Calling).
