ISRAEL: Orthodox Rabbis issue groundbreaking declaration affirming “partnership” with Christianity

By BI:  A group of prominent Orthodox rabbis in Israel, the United States and Europe have issued a historic public <a href="http://cjcuc.com/site/2015/12/03/orthodox-rabbinic-statement-on-christianity/" target="_blank">statement</a> affirming that Christianity is “the willed divine outcome and gift to the nations” and urging Jews and Christians to “work together as partners to address the moral challenges of our era.”

<a href="http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/12/17/orthodox-rabbis-issue-groundbreaking-declaration-affirming-partnership-christianity/">Breitbart </a> “Jesus brought a double goodness to the world,” the statement reads. “On the one hand he strengthened the Torah of Moses majestically” and on the other hand “he removed idols from the nations,” instilling them “firmly with moral traits.”
This year 2015 marks the 50th anniversary of Nostra Aetate, the <a href="http://www.vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_decl_19651028_nostra-aetate_en.html" target="_blank">declaration</a> issued in 1965 by the Second Vatican Council, which marked a watershed in Jewish-Christian relations.

“The real importance of this Orthodox statement is that it calls for fraternal partnership between Jewish and Christian religious leaders, while also acknowledging the positive theological status of the Christian faith. Jews and Christians must be in the forefront of teaching basic moral values to the world,” said Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, one of the statement’s initiators, and founder of CJCUC, member of the Israeli Rabbinate and the Chief Rabbi of Efrat.
In language unusual for its day, Nostra Aetate stated that “God holds the Jews most dear,” stressed the great “spiritual patrimony common to Christians and Jews,” and condemned “hatred, persecutions, displays of anti-Semitism, directed against Jews at any time and by anyone.”
Now, a group of Jewish leaders has responded in kind, expressing their desire to accept “the hand offered to us by our Christian brothers and sisters.” “Christians are congregations that work for the sake of heaven who are destined to endure, whose intent is for the sake of heaven and whose reward will not denied,” the text reads.

The statement bears the title, “To Do the Will of Our Father in Heaven: Toward a Partnership between Jews and Christians,” and is signed by over 25 prominent Orthodox rabbis, who invite fellow Orthodox rabbis to join in signing the statement.
“Now that the Catholic Church has acknowledged the eternal Covenant between G-d and Israel, we Jews can acknowledge the ongoing constructive validity of Christianity as our partner in world redemption, without any fear that this will be exploited for missionary purposes,” it says.
Echoing recent words by <a href="http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/10/28/pope-francis-christians-jews-no-longer-enemies-strangers-friends-brothers/">Pope Francis</a>, the document states: “We are no longer enemies, but unequivocal partners in articulating the essential moral values for the survival and welfare of humanity.” “Neither of us can achieve G-d’s mission in this world alone,” it says.

Given our toxic history, this is unprecedented in Orthodoxy.” said Rabbi Dr. Eugene Korn, Academic Director of CJCUC.

Depicting the prophet Muhammad in a manner like this would get you beheaded in many Muslim countries, even today. I wonder if students will be allowed to include a scene like that in their videos?

The project would include a brief biography of Muhammad, the explanation of the five pillars of Islam and how Islam is connected to Judaism and Christianity.

Durn declined to comment, but district administration contacted the CDT. Assistant Superintendent Sherri Connell said Durn’s ancient civilization class has board-approved curriculum that covers the Pennsylvania-approved history and government standards through the 1500s.
As with many courses in our school district, including health, biology, history and literature, we present information to students in a factual, unbiased manner and have them analyze the information so they are able to make informed decisions and develop educated opinions,” Connell said.

“We then encourage our students to express their decisions and opinions in a thoughtful, articulate manner. Mr. Durn developed this project to help students demonstrate this skill.” But when the project was assigned, some parents publicly took to social media and unleashed controversial opinions.

“There was outrage on Facebook and in the community, and we’re sorry it got to that level,” Allissa Meyer said. “It could have been done in a more effective manner, but at the same time appreciative to have a district that understands.”
Meyer has a daughter at Penns Valley Area High School who was assigned the project.

It has over 11,000 ‘thumbs up’ and more than 1.2 million views, although comments were disabled, presumably to censor criticism.
“The video titled “Welcome to Canada Syrian Refugees” shows the choir singing one of the oldest songs in the Islamic culture called “Tala‘ al-Badru ‘Alayna” which is sung to the Muslim Prophet Muhammad upon his arrival in Medina after completing the Battle of Tabouk,” <a href="http://speisa.com/modules/articles/index.php/item.2283/video-welcome-to-canada-refugees.html">reports Speisa.</a> Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted his approval of the song.

The quran refers to the battle by calling on Muslims to fight and kill non-believers until they “pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

The Jizya is a crippling tax on non-Muslims which is <a href="http://shoebat.com/2015/10/10/islamic-state-isis-to-christians-in-syria-pay-jizya-non-muslim-tax-or-you-will-be-executed-and-your-wives-will-become-our-sex-slaves/">currently imposed on Christians in the Middle East by ISIS</a> under threat of execution and taking their wives as sex slaves.

After Muhammad and his army arrived in Tabouk, “Jewish and Christian tribes in the area where Muhammad was converted to Islam,” while Muhammad also sent a letter to the Christian Prince of Ayla/Aliah threatening him to convert to Islam, pay the Jizya, or be killed.

In summary; the children are basically singing a song that celebrates the subjugation and “submission” of Christians to Islam after thousands of Muslims migrated and took over a large portion of territory.
Given this history, perhaps it would have been less provocative simply to have the children chant “Allahu Akbar” instead.

Newly-arrived Muslim freeloaders are being taken on ‘jollies’ paid for by £100,000 of public money to zoos, theme parks and even the beach in an attempt to help them ‘integrate’ into British life, it has emerged. Since 2009, a refugee support group has been treating dozens of Muslim migrants to days out at Thorpe Park, Whipsnade Zoo, the London Eye, Brighton beach, and pricey resorts.

Tory MP Andrew Bridgen told <a class="" href="http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/6813618/100k-on-days-out-to-help-refugees-intergrate.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">The Sun</a> that those who played the Lottery would be ‘disappointed if it paid for asylum-seekers’ jollies.’ Among the other jaunts that asylum-seekers enjoyed courtesy of The Hillingdon Refugee Support Group were trips to the British Museum, the Cutty Sark and week-long adventure holidays.
The latter saw 16 to 21-year-olds who arrived ‘unaccompanied’ to the UK enjoy a week of climbing and canoeing paid for by the charity, which received £399,545 from the Big Lottery Fund in March.

Photos of Muslim invaders on other days out to the Tower of London, which costs an adult £22 to visit, and Surrey’s Thorpe Park (up to £49.99) also accompanied the support group’s newsletters. In one, after a visit to the £500-a-night Grenville House Outdoor Education Centre in Brixham, Devon, the charity wrote ‘everyone enjoyed the trip… we shall certainly be looking to visit next year.’
The trip to Whipsnade was described as a ‘summertime favourite’ that migrants ‘always enjoy’, while ‘good fun was had by all’ at a day out to an ice rink. However, Steven George-Hilley, of the Parliament Street think-tank, said the ‘jollies’ made ‘Britain look more like Butlins’.

On its website, the Hillingdon Refugee Support Group, which also receives funding from the Hillingdon Community Trust charity, says the trips are designed to ‘build confidence’ for Muslim economic opportunists and ‘enable their integration pipe dream into British society’.
A spokeswoman for the Big Lottery Fund confirmed that the refugee support group was awarded £399,545 and that £91,372 had been paid out to date. She added: ‘The funding is for young Muslims (many of whom lie about their ages) without families who have recently arrived as alleged refugees.

On the island of Bute, off the West of Scotland, 15 families have arrived, but this has created tensions. Islanders are divided between those who’ve welcomed the migrants and those who angrily accuse the London government and the local Argyll And Bute Council of keeping quiet about the newcomers until they turned up in their midst.

In a sickening effort to preserve the family honor, the mother decided that there was only one thing to do that would save them from scandal in their town.

<a href="http://www.emirates247.com/crime/world/man-rapes-grand-daughter-mom-kills-her-2015-12-10-1.613537" target="_blank">Emirates 24|7</a>  After 23-year-old Merfat had put her child down for the night, she retired to her bedroom in the house she shared with her 59-year-old father, Faraj, in Sohag, Egypt. However, she soon awoke to the cries of her little girl, coming from her father’s room.
Merfat opened the door to find her daughter, 2-year-old Grace Ahmed, being violently raped by Faraj, the child’s own grandfather.
Instead of attacking her daughter’s rapist and saving her child, Merfat ran some bath water in a small tub, undressed the girl, and placed her terrified, bleeding baby inside. At the hands of her own mother, little Grace was held underwater until she drown. According to Merfat, she murdered her own daughter to “avoid scandal” in the overwhelmingly Muslim town.

Chief Detective Ali Akhmim told <a href="http://www.karamapress.com/arabic/?Action=ShowNews&ID=157709" target="_blank">Karama Press</a> that the medical examiner found “traces of blood” in the child’s anus, revealing that the little girl suffered immensely before her death. Police arrested Merfat and Farah, and charged them with murder and rape respectively.
Murdering the victims of rape is nothing new under Islam. In fact, honor killings and punishment under Sharia law are so common that rape is rarely reported in strict Islamic countries.
