<a href="http://www.adfmedia.org/News/PRDetail/8700">ADF Media</a>   A Lakewood, Colorado, cake artist who declined to use his artistic talents to create a wedding cake celebrating a same-sex ceremony asked the state’s highest court Friday to take his case and rule that the government cannot force him to communicate a message with which he fundamentally disagrees.
Phillips, a Christian since the late 1970s, says creating cakes for same-sex marriages would go against his constitutionally protected belief that marriage is the sacred union of a man and a woman, as taught in the Bible. Phillips also chooses not to create cakes depicting witches or ghosts for Halloween, or to design cakes with sexually suggestive images. (But never gets sued over that)

That decision ordered Jack Phillips and his staff at Masterpiece Cakeshop to create cakes for same-sex celebrations. The decision also ordered Phillips to comply with Colorado’s Anti-Discrimination Act by re-educating his staff and filing quarterly “compliance” reports for two years.
“The freedom to live and work consistently with one’s faith is at the heart of what it means to be an American,” said ADF Senior Legal Counsel Jeremy Tedesco. “Jack simply exercised the long-cherished American freedom to decline to use his artistic talents to promote a message with which he disagrees. We are asking the Colorado Supreme Court to ensure that government understands that its duty is to protect the people’s freedom to follow their beliefs personally and professionally, not force them to violate those beliefs as the price of earning a living.”

<div>In July 2012, Charlie Craig and David Mullins asked Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, to make a wedding cake to celebrate their same-sex ceremony. In an exchange lasting about 30 seconds, Phillips politely declined, explaining that he would gladly make them any other type of baked item they wanted but that he could not make a cake promoting a same-sex ceremony because of his faith.</div>

The same-sex couple was easily able to obtain their desired rainbow-themed cake from another nearby baker.In contrast to the ruling against Phillips, the commission found in March that <a href="http://www.adfmedia.org/News/PRDetail/9588">three Denver bakeries were not guilty of creed discrimination</a> when they declined to create a cake for a Christian customer who sought a cake that reflected his religious opposition to same-sex marriage.</div>

Contrary to the assertions of the commission and the state appeals court, Phillips did not engage in any type of discrimination based on the sexual orientation of the customer, the <a href="http://www.adfmedia.org/files/MasterpieceCertPetitionCO.pdf" target="_blank">petition</a> filed with the Colorado Supreme Court in Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Craig explains.
“Phillips…honors God through his creative work by declining to use his artistic talents to design and create cakes that violate his religious beliefs…,” the petition states. “This includes cakes with offensive written messages and cakes celebrating events or ideas that violate his beliefs, including cakes celebrating Halloween, anti-American or anti-family themes, atheism, racism, or indecency….
He also will not create cakes with hateful, vulgar, or profane messages, or sell any products containing alcohol…. Consistent with this longtime practice, Phillips also will not create cakes celebrating any marriage that is contrary to biblical teaching….”

“By equating an artist’s conscience-driven, message-based objection to creating expressive items that offend his beliefs with person-based discrimination based on sexual orientation…,” the petition continues, “the [appeals] court places CADA in direct conflict with the fundamental rights to free speech and free exercise of religion, and wrongly subordinates these rights to public accommodations law.”</div>
<div>“Every artist must be free to create work that expresses what he or she believes and not be forced to express contrary views,” added lead counsel Nicolle Martin, one of more than 2,600 private attorneys allied with ADF. “Forcing people to promote ideas against their will is not an American concept. It undermines our constitutionally protected freedom of expression and our right to live free.”</div>

Russian lawmakers have drafted a new bill that will punish people for publicly expressing any sort of favor for homosexuality. I did a video on this:

According to <a href="https://www.rt.com/politics/319466-new-russian-bill-orders-fines/" target="_blank">the report:</a>

Two Communist Party MPs have drafted a bill that bans any public demonstration of “non-traditional” sexual orientation and orders monetary fines or up to 15 days of administrative detention for violation of this rule. 
State Duma lawmakers Ivan Nikitchuk and Nikolay Arefyev want to amend the Russian Administrative Code with a new article listing “public expression of non-traditional sexual relations” as a violation.
An explanatory note attached to the draft reads that if this expression takes the form of “demonstration of one’s distorted sexual preferences in public places,” it must be punished with fines between 4,000 and 5,000 rubles ($64-$80 at current rate). And those who do this in educational and cultural establishments or offices of state and municipal authorities can face up to 15 days of arrest.
“I think that the problem is acute and urgent because it concerns the social diseases of our society and the moral upbringing of the younger generation. Unfortunately, the mechanism suggested in the 2013 law ‘On the protection of children against the information that harms their health and development’ has proved to be ineffective and this prompted us to develop new measures,” Nikitchuk said in comments with Izvestia daily.
The lawmaker also told reporters that he considered homosexuality to be a “grave danger for any normal person and for humanity as a whole” because it can affect children and grandchildren and prevent them from reproduction. “In a biological sense, failure to reproduce is the same as death and this makes homosexuality a deadly danger for humanity,” Nikitchuk said.

Two Muslims, one armed with a knife and another with a gun, entered a bus in Jerusalem and began. One of their targets was an elderly Christian woman. The one armed with a knife began stabbing her, and as she was being stabbed she began to cry out, “Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ! Help me!” Suddenly the knife attacker ran away to the back of the bus. Here is <a href="http://www.christianpost.com/news/christian-woman-survives-muslim-terrorist-stabbing-screaming-jesus-147860/" target="_blank">the story:</a>

An elderly Christian woman who was stabbed multiple times during a terrorist attack on a bus in Jerusalem, Israel, that left two people dead and at least 16 others injured on Tuesday says she is convinced she is alive today because she called on Jesus as her attacker plunged his blade into her body.
According to a One for Israel report two terrorists boarded the No. 78 bus in the Armon haNatziv (East Talpiyot) neighborhood of Jerusalem, one armed with a knife, the other with a gun. They then began shooting and stabbing the passengers, including the elderly woman identified as Marike Veldman in a report by Alfred Muller in Reformatorisch Dagblad.
Veldman, who is originally from the Netherlands but has lived in Israel for many years, said when the terrorists boarded the bus one of them sat in front of her until things quickly turned ugly.
“They began to cry ‘Allahu Akbar.’ The man in front of me began with a knife stabbing into me. The other man started shooting. People screamed very loudly. It was awful. I cried constantly in Dutch: ‘Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus! Help me, help me!'” she said from her bed at the Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem. When she did this, she said her attacker “ran away to the back of the bus.”

A Muslim immigrant from Iran in Germany converted to Christianity and began preaching the Gospel to the other immigrants. When some of the Muslims in the immigration camp found out what was going on they attacked the Christian and beat almost to death. Western countries in Europe and North America continue to debate what role they will play in admitting refugees fleeing IS in the Middle East. The Obama administration has been criticized by human rights groups for its pledge to take only take up-to 10,000 refguees, despite the fact that the U.S. has given close to $4 billion in terms of humanitarian assistance to Syrian refugees.

Muslim immigrants in Germany, as part of the flood of immigrants in Europe, attacked an Iraqi Christian family, attacking the wife and child and screaming, “We will kill you and drink your blood”. According to <a href="http://www.frontpagemag.com/point/260262/muslims-persecute-christian-refugees-germany-daniel-greenfield" target="_blank">the report:</a>

Especially dramatic is the case of a Christian family from Iraq, which was housed in a refugee camp in the Bavarian Freising. The father told a TV crew of the Bayerischer Rundfunk of beatings and threats by Syrian Islamists. “They yelled at my wife and beat my child. They say.. “We will kill you and drink your blood” The family lived in the rooms of the home as prisoners – until they no longer stand it and returned to Iraq.”
“One would have to protect the family,” says Simon Jacob of the Central Council of the Eastern Christians. Stories like these no longer surprise him. “I know of a lot of reports of Christian refugees who are under attack. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg,” says Jacob. “The number of unreported cases is high.”…
“Often the aggressors are Afghans or Pakistanis who are often more Islamist than many Syrians and Iraqis,” says Max Klingberg of the International Society for Human Rights, who has been active in refugee aid for fifteen years. He assumes that the violence in the refugee centers will continue to increase. “We must rid ourselves of the illusion that all those who arrive here, are human rights activists. Among the new arrivals is a not small number at least as intense as the Muslim Brotherhood.”

These are the immigrants that we keep hearing about. This is why more prudent nations like Slovakia are saying that they are willing to accept immigrants but they must be Christian. This needs to be the policy of the Western world: we will accept persecuted Christians, but not Muslims. This story proves that the immigration flood is an anti-Christian movement, part of a conspiracy done by Turkey and ISIS in order to invade Europe.
We need to work hard to help bring in persecuted Christians into the Western world. We are right now working to bring in Christian widows and their children from Iraq into Spain. It has been a whole year of working and it looks like our labors are going to be ending with success, but we must keep working and praying.
