<p>Josh Duggar has been found to have created multiple accounts on the Ashley Madison website (a site for deviants looking to commit infidelity), asking women to meet up with him and have affairs. This is what <a href="http://gawker.com/family-values-activist-josh-duggar-had-a-paid-ashley-ma-1725132091" target="_blank">he was looking for in the lascivious women he searched for</a>:</p>

<p>It has been <a href="http://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/bombshell-duggar-police-report-jim-bob-duggar-didn-t-report-son-josh-s-alleged-sex-offenses-for-more-than-a-year-58906" target="_blank">confirmed</a> that Josh Duggar was investigated by the authorities for numerous sex offenses, and by offenses I don’t mean any small crimes. I mean Josh forced himself on these girls and fondled them, touching their breasts and genitalia. He did this to four of his siblings and numerous other girls. According to the voluminous police report, Josh forced himself upon five young girls and fondled their genitals and breasts. On 2006, Springdale police questioned the damnable couple, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Jim told the police that in 2002 a young girl told him that Josh Duggar was molesting her, touching her breasts and vagina while she was sleeping, and this happened numerous times. In 2006, Jim revealed to the police that in July of 2002 Josh admitted to touching a young girl’s breasts while she slept. According to the police report:</p>

<p>James [Jim] said that they disciplined (redacted, Josh) after this incident.</p>
</blockquote>
<p>The Duggar family did not inform authorities when it was known what evils their son Josh was committing.</p>
<p>Jim Bob also said to the police that about nine months later, in March of 2003, “there was another incident.” This time, Josh was yet again accused by a young girl of touching her breasts and vagina. Josh was accused by numerous other young girls of fondling their vaginas, many times when they were sleeping, but at times even when they were awake.</p>
<p>Jim then “met with the elders of his church and told them what was going on.” Not one of the Duggars reported it to the police, nor to any other law enforcement agency. Rather, they simply sent the little deviant to a “program [that] consisted of hard physical work and counseling. James said that [redacted, Josh] was in the program from March 17, 2003 until July 17, 2003.”</p>
<p>According to Jim the program was a “Christian program.” But this was far from the truth. Michelle Duggar later told the police that Josh actually never got any counseling. The reality was that he was simply sent to a family friend. As we read in the police report, Michelle told the police:</p>

<p>it was not really a training center. Det. [Darrell] Hignite asked if the guy [redacted, Josh] talked to was a certified counselor. She said no. She said it was a guy they know in Little Rock that is remodeling a building. Det. Hignite asked if the guy was more of a mentor. She said “kind of.”</p>
</blockquote>
<p>When the police interviewed numerous of the young girls, in December of 2006, they told the authorities that Josh “had touched their breasts and sex organs.”</p>
<p>What was his punishment? Instead of having this deviant arrested, In 2006 Jim Bob and the elders of their church brought Josh to Arkansas State Trooper, Jim Hutchens. Did officer Hutchens arrest the evil boy? No. Instead Hutchens simply gave a “very stern talk.” In other words, they did nothing. This same officer was part of the same depravities as Josh, because Hutchens is now serving a 56 year prison sentence for owning child porn. The church knew what was going on, and did nothing, the officer did nothing, the family did nothing, which indicates that all of these people are part of the cult, cover up for rape and molestation, and are accomplices to the evil nature of this diabolical sect.</p>
<p>So how did the evil reality of the Duggars come to light? How did it leak from the fake smiles of this cultish family? The Duggars admitted to the police that when Josh was accused of molesting young girls, “a family friend aware of what had happened had written down in a letter what he knew of [redacted, Josh’s] actions…That letter had been placed in a book and had subsequently been forgotten about. Just recently [in 2006] the book had been loaned to someone else with the letter in it and another person discovered the letter.”</p>
<p>The Duggars refused to inform the police as to who wrote the letter and who found it.</p>
<p>Upon the time when the Duggars were to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show in 2006, a 61 year old woman (who has not been identified) sent an email to the show warning them about Josh Duggar’s evil activities.</p>
<p>Harpo Studios sent the same letter to the Department of Human Services hotline. From this commenced the investigation on the Duggars.</p>
<p>Once the police requested from Jim to bring Josh in for an interview in 2006, he immediately tried to hire a lawyer and actually refused to produce his son for questioning. What is amazing is that two lawyers had enough conscience to refuse to take his case. Jim Duggard left a voice message on an officer’s phone, saying that his son will not be coming in for questioning. According to the police report: “Det. Hignite received a voice mail from Mr. Duggar stating that [redacted] had hired an attorney and would not be coming in for an interview.”</p>
<p>Tell me, are these the actions of Christians? It was not just the family, but the whole church was involved in covering up for this evil man, just as in Islamic society a whole mosque will protect a terrorist.</p>
<p>I warned you about the Duggars, and many of you were upset, saying that I should not be judging fellow “Christians.” The Duggars are not Christians, they are a cult, a cult just as violent and deviant as Islam. This new information confirms what I was saying since last year on this dark and diabolical family.</p>
<p>This revealed crime within the Duggar family is only one new leaked piece of information. There will be more crimes and depravities being leaked as time goes on. It is always the case with these cults that try to appeal as clean and moral. The world looks at them and says, “Beautiful, clean cut and Protestant, I wish I was more like them” or “I wish my family was more like them.” The truth is that you don’t want to be like the Duggars; you don’t want to be fake, dysfunctional, and absent of true confession.</p>
<p>The Duggars are a perfect example of what I like to call <em>church trash,</em> or people who exude a very religious persona to masquerade for their own deviancies. Church trash will always excuse their evil behavior by bringing up “Jesus” to gain the support of their sycophants, the types who will always obsequiously say something like: “Oh come on! You don’t know their hearts. So he made a mistake, the Lord always forgives, and you cannot deny that they are introducing the Gospel to people who may have never heard it! They are better than all of the other shows, and they are the cleanest on TV.”</p>
<p>The Duggars are not the cleanest show on TV, they are in fact one of the filthiest things I have seen on television (they are on TLC, which, to me, stands for <em>Trash Life Center</em>) They teach people how to be hypocrites, how to hide their evils behind Christianity, how to cover up for sinister cultish evil. I will give you an example of how these followers of the Duggars and Bill Gothard cover up their evil with sophism and sycophancy.</p>
<p>When I gave my first warning in regards to the Duggars, I almost immediately received the reaction of Adam McManus, a radio host with whom I did an interview a number of years ago.</p>

<p>Within the conversation Adam refused to call Bill Gothard a cultist regardless of his sexual deviancy. Here is the discourse:</p>

<p><strong>Adam</strong>: were you serious when you said you think the Duggars are a cult or were you just trying to get a rise out of your friends?</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> I understand that this is a sensitive issue, but I sincerely believe they are a cult. I am not trying to get attention. On my thread, I expose a lot of things people see as sacred or righteous. There are many cults that give big bowls of punch with microscopic drops of poison, and these are the ones we need to watch out for</p>
<p><strong>Adam</strong>: I have interviewed them and met them. I disagree. What leads you to draw that conclusion?</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> They are supporters of Bill Gothard, a known cult leader</p>
<p><strong>Adam</strong>: Bill Gothard certainly has had his issues — primarily being inappropriate with young women. And some have concluded that he teaches a form of modesty which is sadly not even seen among Christians today who too often dress like the world. None of that makes him a cult leader.</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> Muslims have the same modesty. Modesty does not necessarily make one orthodox. Cult leaders exploit their female followers, Bill Gothard is just like this.</p>
<p><strong>Adam</strong>: You’re right that modesty does not necessarily make one orthodox, nor does it make one a cult leader. I wish more people — women in particular were modest in their dress. There are all kinds of immoral men — Christian and non-Christian — who exploit women — including those in the sex trafficking world. But that does not make them cultists.</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> Anyone who makes a religious institution and uses that to his advantage over women, is a cult leader.</p>
<p><strong>Adam</strong>: How do you figure that? Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker took advantage of women. But they were not cultists.</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> Have you not read the testimonies of women who were sexually harassed by this man? He was taking advantage of them and using God as his justification, a trait of any cult.</p>
<p><strong>Adam</strong>: Yes, I have read some of those testimonies. But that does not mean he is a cultists. Was King David a cultist?</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> So since Muhammad had sex with multiple women, this alone in your mind does not make him a cultist?<br />
King David didn’t use God as his justification, we cannot use moral equivalency</p>
<p><strong>Adam</strong>: Not everyone admits to their sin at first blush. Ultimately, Bill Gothard did admit that he had been inappropriate. David and Gothard were both motivated by their sinful lusts.</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> You never answered the question</p>
<p><strong>Adam</strong>: Joseph Smith was a cultist. He taught things that the Bible is clearly at odds with — multiple wives, there is no hell, men can become gods and populate planets of their own, etc. What was false about what Gothard taught?</p>
<p>I would classify Muhammed as the founder of a false religion.</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> <strong>Does Muhammad’s sexual relationships with multiple women alone make him a cultist? Yes or no</strong></p>
<p><strong>Adam</strong>: I don’t define whether someone is a cultist based on whether they have sex with lots of women. That would make Hugh Hefner a cultist. it’s about advocating a false religion which claims to be Christian — whether or not they exploit women.</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> So then by your own logic Muhammad’s sexual relationships with multiple women, under a supposed authority of God, alone does not make him a cultist. Amazing logic</p>
<p>Also, by your own logic, one can have sex with multiple women under a title of Godliness, and still not be a cult, but a true religion. Again, amazing logic.</p>
<p><strong>Adam:</strong> Ted, I am not defending sin. I’m just saying it does not define a cult. Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons are both cults because of the theological error of their ways — totally apart from any sexual sin which they may or may not participate in.</p>
<p><strong>Theodore Shoebat:</strong> So if a church teaches good doctrine, but practices group sex and polygamy, would you classify that as a cult? What if you yourself were a member of this church, would you say that you were in a cult? Yes or no.</p>

<p>Adam never answered my last question, but yet blocked me on facebook.</p>
<p>His refusal to call Gothard, and his Duggar following, a cult, or any group that uses God to gain sex, a cult, illustrates his own unreasonable loyalty toward Gothard and the Duggars. It also illustrates another point: those who are obsequiously loyal to Gothard, the Duggars, or those like them, will say anything to cover up for their evils.</p>
<p>In all of these cults that want to bring America back to the “Puritan” days, with this utopian vision that if they could only go back to Puritan society that America will be more “moral,” the end result is always one man (or a group of men) dominating over the rest, taking women to be concubines, raping and molesting young girls (and at times boys), and committing all sorts of atrocious violence. There are people who want us to emulate the Duggars and the demonic teachings of Bill Gothard. The truth is that we should never emulate them or their cult leader Gothard, if we did, America would not only fall deeper into moral decay, but would be transformed into another Afghanistan, where incestual rape and child molestation within families is so engrained within the society, that it is ever rarely punished by the authorities (I explain and show examples of this <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrcDRMTUCVQ" target="_blank">in my first Duggar video</a>).</p>
<p>They will say, “But they read the Bible!” As my father says, “The reading of Scripture, without knowing the history of Christianity, is the plight of fools.” The Bible is a volume, a compilation of books by authors who are now in Heaven and no longer here. Anyone can read their writings to justify whatever they want. To read the Bible, without the aid of Church History and the Church Fathers, is like trying to sail a ship without the help of experience or training, only worse.</p>
<p>Imagine if you have an entire society of people who call themselves surgeons, who try to merit their title of surgeons by saying that they read a few medical books here and there. You then go to the hospital and one of these persons is about to operate on your heart. You tell him, “You’ve never went to medical school. How could I trust you?” He gets extremely upset and goes into a rage, and says, “How dare you question my authority! I have been reading this medical text book for 35 years! I don’t need no stinking medical school!” Would you want this person operating on you? No one would. But why is it, that with the Bible, the inspired teachings of God, we treat it as though anyone can read it and automatically be a teacher?</p>
<p>This is the source of all of the cults in America: everyone is now a theologian, everyone is their own pope. Little groups dominated by evil men are formed, each one under a tyrant just as despotic as any tyrant who rules over a nation.</p>
<p>One thing I want to stress is that the Duggars are not an anomaly, they are in reality a reflection of American society, where cultic rape and molestation is rampant and very common. If the Duggars were Muslim, then millions would be up protesting for the show’s cancelation. But because the Duggars fit the accepted American “Christian” <em>image</em>, many Americans are more than willing to defend them, rather than condemn them. You already have Mike Huckabee (who fits the typical image of the mainstream American conservative pastor), already saying that what Josh Duggar did was a “mistake,” <a href="http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/josh-duggar-mike-huckabee-defends-19-kids-counting/story?id=31236959" target="_blank">saying</a>: “Good people make mistakes and do regrettable and even disgusting things.”</p>
<p>Molesting multiple girls is now a “mistake.” There are Muslims in Afghanistan who molest girls, are they also making a “mistake”? I remember there was a reality show called The All-American Muslim. Huge amounts of Christians were calling for the show to be canceled (and rightfully so), and eventually their voices were heard and the show was pulled down. But why is it, then, that with the Duggars there is little to no outrage by the conservative Christians, regardless of the facts that the Duggars advance the agenda of Bill Gothard — a child molester and cult leader — and that Josh Duggar molested numerous young girls?</p>
<p>This hypocrisy stems from numerous things: (1) the Duggars fit the image that American Christians revere; (2) because they fit the image, when they do something evil, they have to cover up for them because they are “one of us,” and their actions are just something we should accept as the way things are; (3) the Muslims are not “one of us” and even though they will do the same evils, they are not worthy of defense. The veneration for the Duggars is a veneration of an image that is upon the altar of American Christianity, which is truly a national cult. It is this type of hypocrisy that stirs me to absolutely despise the mainstream conservative movement. For us not to go against the Duggars for this coverup, makes us just as bad — or even worse — than the Muslims.</p>
<p>I remember when I was in high school, I considered myself a conservative. I probably would have admired the Duggars, but then as years went by, and I began to read the Church Fathers, I gradually came to the realization that it was all a facade. I began to read the <em>City of God</em> by Augustine, and here I saw — like a shadow on the wall, framed by the glimmer of the candlelight — the difference between the citizen of Heaven and a slave of the devil; I read Lactantius’ Divine Institutes, and here I saw what great difference there is (through the clearest lens) between the society of pagans and the civilization of Christendom; I read Eusebius’ Life of Constantine, and here I learned what a leader is. The more I read the writings of the holy Fathers, the ascetic writings of hermits, and the works of melancholic thinkers, the more I came to realize how much of a trend the conservative movement is, how attached it is to image, and how detached it is from eternal truths. I no longer called myself a conservative, and from then have referred to myself as a Christian militant.</p>
<p>To be a Christian is to be a citizen of Heaven, not a sycophant to the American view of what Christianity is. To be a Christian is to look at the image that is perceived as Christian — the clean cut looks, the quick declaration of being “pro life” and “pro marriage,” the projection of piety, the fake smiles, the facade of family values and morals — and say, “You are just an image, an idol that needs to be shattered.”</p>

<p>Thousands of demonstrators gathered throughout New Zealand to speak out against the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal on Saturday. Extra police were called in as protesters pushed through barriers in front of the country's parliament building.</p>
<p>Auckland saw the biggest turnout, with an estimated 5,000 people calling on the New Zealand government to “walk away” from the TPP agreement. Many held placards reading “Don't trade our needs for corporate greed,” and “Enough is enough.”</p>
<p>Video footage shows a demonstrator on stage in the city's Aotea Square asking “Who's got the power?” Energetic demonstrators then respond by saying “We've got the power!”</p>
<p>After being addressed by opposition politicians and campaigners, the demonstrators marched down Queen Street to the U.S. Consulate building.</p>
<p>Earlier this week, the U.S. Consulate emailed American citizens living in New Zealand, advising them to avoid the march.</p>
<p>“We urge citizens to avoid the protest march route as even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational. We remind citizens to always exercise caution when in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations,” the consulate wrote.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, police in Wellington were called in to help security staff after a “small group tried to move up the steps of parliament before being stopped by police and security,” Wellington Police area commander Inspector Chris Bensemann said, as quoted by The New Zealand Herald.</p>
<p>He added that officers were “able to contain” the protesters to the bottom of the steps. No arrests were made.</p>
<p>In Nelson, more than 500 people marched through the city, holding up traffic and singing songs written for the protest. Flags representing the Nurses Union, Labour and Green parties, and the Public Service Association could be seen in the crowd.</p>
<p>Large turnouts were also reported in Christchurch, Hamilton and Dunedin. Demonstrations took place in 21 cities and towns throughout the country, according to Radio New Zealand.</p>
<p>The controversial TPP deal would involve the U.S. and 11 other Asia-Pacific countries: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam, leading to unfettered free trade and empowering big business in the region.</p>
<p>Those against the deal have objected to the secrecy surrounding talks, and opponents in New Zealand say that many of the provisions will undermine the country's sovereignty, giving transnational corporations huge influence over the nation's laws and regulations.</p>
<p>“Make the TPPA document available for public examination before you sign it – not after,” documentary filmmaker Bryan Bruce said, addressing protesters in Wellington.</p>
<p>Four days of talks in Hawaii to finalize the deal stalled earlier this month after participating countries failed to reach an agreement. New Zealand Prime Minister John Key said last week that he expects it to be signed by the end of this year.</p>

<p>“Everybody outside the Northwest thinks that’s where energy projects go to die.” That’s the reputation our region has earned as an increasing number of proposed coal and oil export projects have encountered ferocious opposition. It’s what the backer of a proposed oil refinery in Longview, Washington, told reporters earlier this year after his company’s stealth proposal was outed by environmental groups.</p>
<p>The Cascadia region has proven to be extraordinarily challenging for those who would turn it into a major carbon energy export hub—so much so that Sightline has taken to calling it the Thin Green Line.</p>
<p>Since 2012, a staggering number of schemes have proposed to move large volumes of carbon-intense fuels through Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia to Asian markets. A recent Sightline analysis shows that proposed and newly permitted energy projects in the region would amount to the carbon equivalent of more than five Keystone XL Pipelines.</p>
<p>But in big ways and small—from Coos Bay, Oregon, to Prince Rupert, British Columbia—the Thin Green Line has held fast. Big energy projects have faced delays, uncertainty, mounting costs…and then failure. A review of these projects makes clear just how successful the region has been in denying permission to dirty energy companies as it stays true to its heritage as a center of clean energy, sustainability, and forward thinking.</p>
<h3><strong>Coal Export Terminals</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Prince Rupert Port Authority: Ridley Coal Terminal Expansion (Prince Rupert, BC)</strong></p>
<p>Ridley Terminals began an expansion project in 2011 to increase the coal throughput at its northern British Columbia terminal from 12 to 24 million tons per year. The company scaled back operations this year to less than 6 million tons—and possibly less than 4 million tons—due to persistently low coal prices. In November 2014, the expansion project was put on hold for up to five years.</p>
<p><strong>Port Metro Vancouver: Fraser Surrey Docks (Surrey, BC)</strong></p>
<p>Project backers submitted a permit application in June 2012, hoping to complete construction of a new 8-million-ton-per-year export terminal for US coal on the Fraser River by the end of 2015.</p>
<p>Local opponents successfully delayed the project by getting officials to conduct a study of previously unaddressed health impacts and to implement a third-party review process. These studies took a total of 26 months and were not approved by the Port until August 2014. That approval is now being challenged by opponents, and the project faces multiple legal hurdles.</p>
<p>Two years after Fraser Surrey Docks had hoped to begin construction, the plans remain stalled, and coal export demand has declined dramatically.</p>
<p><strong>SSA Marine: Gateway Pacific Terminal (Ferndale, WA)</strong></p>
<p>SSA Marine first applied for state and federal permits to build the Gateway Pacific Terminal in February 2011. The plans called for a terminal with the capacity to export 48 million tons of coal per year, with operations commencing in 2017. At the current rate of progress, the date would be closer to 2020, according to observers. The project’s draft environmental impact study, which was slated to be issued in mid-2015, has been delayed by at least a year. According to project consultants, the delay is tied to late-arriving information and more complex research than anticipated, such as the evaluation of health impacts associated with coal dust.</p>
<p>Two major coal companies have established agreements to ship through the terminal, but both are struggling. Neither Peabody Energy nor Cloud Peak Energy would make money exporting coal to Asia at current prices, and a string of problems, including unfunded reclamation liabilities, has pushed Peabody’s shares to all-time lows.</p>
<p>The project also faces intense resistance from an array of organizations and local governments. The most serious obstacle is intractable opposition from the Lummi Nation, which has vowed to block the project and asserts that the facility would violate its federally protected treaty rights.</p>
<p><strong>Ambre Energy: Millennium Bulk Terminals (Longview, WA)</strong></p>
<p>After Ambre Energy proposed in November 2010 to build an export terminal that could move 5 million tons of coal annually from Longview, a legal challenge unearthed documents showing that the Australian company actually intended to move 40 to 60 million tons—a serious public relations black eye for the project. The company regrouped and then submitted official permit applications in February 2012. After receiving 215,000 public comments during the “scoping” phase of the review, Washington regulators decided to look at the local and global effects of burning coal. Following several contract amendments by Cowlitz County, a draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is likely to be ready in November 2015 for public review, although the date is subject to change. The US Army Corps of Engineers is conducting a separate review of the project.</p>
<p>Ambre Energy originally hoped to begin operations by mid-2014; that date has likely moved well into 2017 at the earliest. In the meantime, a series of financial reversals resulted in the firm selling its North American assets to its creditor, a risk-hungry private equity firm called Resource Capital Funds that has renamed the company Lighthouse Resources. Meanwhile, the project’s minority backer, Arch Coal, has seen its fortunes deteriorate so precipitously that some financial analysts believe the firm is at risk of bankruptcy. It is struggling to maintain a share price sufficient to stay listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Ambre Energy: Morrow Pacific Project (Boardman and Clatskanie, OR)</p>
<p>Ambre Energy, the same Australian company behind the coal export proposal at Longview, Washington, first filed permits for an 8-million-ton-per-year coal barging project in February 2012, anticipating that it could be operational as soon as mid-2013. The project met with furious opposition from environmental groups and nearby tribes, including the Umatilla. In August 2014, Oregon state regulators rejected the company’s permit application for the project, recognizing the treaty rights of Columbia River tribes to nearby fisheries. Officials deemed the project “not consistent with the protection, conservation and best use of the state’s water resources.”</p>
<p>Ambre Energy appealed the decision in September 2014, but the US Army Corps of Engineers suspended its permitting review of the project in the same month. (The Oregon Transportation Commission also twice killed subsidies for the project.) Virtually all observers believe the project is dead.</p>
<p><strong>RailAmerica: Coal Terminal (Hoquiam, WA)</strong></p>
<p>Initially proposed privately to the Port of Grays Harbor in spring 2010 and announced publicly in July 2011, the plan for the RailAmerica coal terminal envisioned operating at full capacity by 2013. But in August 2012, RailAmerica officially told Port commissioners that the project was dead. (The company had actually stopped communicating with the Port months earlier.) While the company never filed permits or completed due diligence, they were the target of concerns in two town hall meetings and would have needed a $100 million investment to meet an ambitious schedule of starting construction at the beginning of 2011 and moving the first loads of coal by the end of that year.</p>
<p>RailAmerica’s senior vice president told the Daily World, “We spent a lot of money. We spent a lot of time, and unfortunately at this point we believe that there are other uses and other opportunities for that terminal that are much more likely to generate jobs, economic development, tax revenues….” He may have been alluding to the oil-by-rail terminal proposals that began emerging in 2012, including no fewer than three at the Port of Grays Harbor itself.</p>
<p><strong>Metro Ports: Project Mainstay (Coos Bay, OR)</strong></p>
<p>A proposal to build a coal export terminal at the Port of Coos Bay, code-named Project Mainstay, was originally reported in July 2011. An agreement with the Port emerged three months later. The plan envisioned commencing operations by 2017 and working at full capacity by 2021, after permitting and railroad rehabilitation. It was called off in April 2013 after the last of the three partners, Metro Ports, let its agreement with the Port lapse.</p>
<p><strong>Kinder Morgan: Port Westward Coal Terminal (Clatskanie, OR)</strong></p>
<p>Energy giant Kinder Morgan publicly unveiled plans in June 2011 for a coal export terminal on the Columbia River near Clatskanie, Oregon. It called for moving 15 million tons of coal annually in the first phase and an additional 15 million tons in a potential second phase. The project was opposed by environmental groups, including Columbia Riverkeeper, as well as then-Governor John Kitzhaber, who called for close scrutiny and transparency. Sightline research exposed Kinder Morgan’s poor track record of operations and highlighted chronic and severe coal dust problems at its terminals in other regions.</p>
<p>Kinder Morgan’s plans relied on subleasing land for the terminal from Portland General Electric (PGE), an Oregon utility, in a Port-owned energy park, but PGE rejected the proposal in May 2012 over concerns about coal dust. This proved to be the beginning of the end for Kinder Morgan’s Northwest coal export dreams. In May 2013, the firm announced it could not find a suitable site in the area, scrapping plans for a $150 million terminal.</p>
<h3><strong>Oil Pipelines</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Enbridge: Northern Gateway Pipeline (Bruderheim, AB, to Kitimat, BC)</strong></p>
<p>Enbridge first announced preliminary plans for the Northern Gateway oil sands pipeline in March 2002. In April 2005, it inked a deal with a Chinese company to build the pipeline, only to have the partnership dissolve two years later. In 2009, Enbridge announced its intention to seek regulatory approval and published a timeline that showed construction starting in mid-2014 and operations commencing in 2018.</p>
<p>The project received approval from Canada’s National Energy Board in June of 2014, but the approval came encumbered with 209 conditions, including that 60 percent of the pipeline capacity be confirmed six months before the beginning of construction and that transportation shipping agreements be in place by June 2016, or else the project’s permits would expire.</p>
<p>While Enbridge has consulted with more than half of the First Nations that would be affected by the project, many remain staunchly opposed. The project faces lawsuits from First Nations, environmental groups, and unions—driving up the project’s costs—and the new premier of Alberta has been forthright in calling the project unlikely. (“Quite frankly,” she said, “anyone who knows how these things unfold knows nothing is happening there for decades.”)</p>
<p>Although construction has not started, the project has already cost Enbridge around $500 million Canadian, and the company’s CEO has said that the earliest possible start date is now 2019. Enbridge has cut advertising for the project and failed to mention the project in recent earnings reports and other communications, giving rise to rumors that the company has shelved the project.</p>
<p><strong>Kinder Morgan: Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion (Edmonton, AB, to Burnaby, BC)</strong></p>
<p>In 2012, Kinder Morgan Canada began initial environmental assessment work to add a second pipeline. The project would be twice the size of the original Trans Mountain pipeline and would carry heavy oil sands crude, sometimes called bitumen, from Alberta to the Pacific coast for export. In December 2013, project backers filed permits that showed construction starting fall 2015.</p>
<p>That timeline has already slipped. Regulators have delayed the review date for approvals to January 2016, but aboriginal community members say that any permitting would lack standing without their approval. The City of Burnaby, where the pipeline would terminate, has refused to cooperate with the project, going as far as to ban project workers from city property, thereby preventing studies required for local permit applications. These and other delays have had a cumulative effect and are likely to push the project well beyond its target start date of late 2017.</p>
<h3><strong>Oil by Rail</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Shell: East Gate Rail Project (Anacortes, WA)</strong></p>
<p>Shell attempted to fast-track an oil train facility project in 2014 after earlier projects at north Puget Sound refineries sailed through permitting in 2012 and 2013. But after legal appeals from local community groups, the Skagit County Hearing Examiner decided in February 2015 to require Shell to undertake a full environmental impact statement. Shell countersued, but the Skagit County Superior Court rejected the suit in May 2015. Observers believe that the draft statement will be submitted for public review in late 2015. Meanwhile, the Swinomish Indian Tribe is suing BNSF, the railway that would transport oil trains to the site, arguing that large-scale oil train movements would violate the terms of an easement that the tribe granted to the railroad.</p>
<p><strong>US Development: Grays Harbor Rail Terminal (Hoquiam, WA)</strong></p>
<p>The Port of Grays Harbor entered into a property agreement with Grays Harbor Terminal LLC in September 2012, a fact that was first discovered through a public records request. An FAQ document issued by the project proponent, US Development, in early 2013 anticipated that the facility could be operational within two years, but the City of Hoquiam and the state’s Department of Ecology have yet to develop a timeline or process for preparing the EIS that would allow regulators to evaluate whether to permit the project. In September 2014, the Aberdeen City Council voted unanimously to reject the proposal, as well as the nearby Westway and Imperium projects (see below), although the city lacks the regulatory authority to actually block the project. Westway: Grays Harbor Terminal Expansion (Hoquiam, WA)</p>
<p>In February 2013, Westway applied for a permit to expand its terminal at Grays Harbor to include an area for receiving, storing, and shipping crude oil. The company called for completing construction and starting full operations by January 2015. That date has slipped drastically. The state Shorelines Hearings Board withdrew initial permits in November 2013 after the Quinault Indian Nation and conservation groups appealed.</p>
<p>The project then underwent a self-initiated Environmental Impact Statement process starting in January 2014. Although the company is now calling for construction to begin in March 2016 (and to last one year for the first phase), the draft version of the EIS, which represents the first stage of evaluating the project, will not be available until late summer of 2015. This raises serious questions about the feasibility of the revised timeline. The Quinault Indian Nation has hired legal representation to block the project, and the project is opposed by a coordinated campaign involving local and statewide public interest groups.</p>
<p><strong>Imperium: Bulk Liquid Terminal Facility (Hoquiam, WA)</strong></p>
<p>The Imperium story parallels that of Westway. The project backers’ initial schedule called for construction running from June 2013 to December 2014, but the work will not be commencing soon. State regulators withdrew permits in November 2013. The proposal is now undergoing an EIS process in tandem with Westway, with the first stage of public review scheduled to begin in the late summer of 2015. The Quinault Indian Nation and numerous environmental groups are seeking to block the project.</p>
<p><strong>NuStar Energy: Vancouver Energy Project (Vancouver, WA)</strong></p>
<p>NuStar applied for permits in April 2014 to retrofit an existing terminal so it will have the capacity to receive crude oil delivered by rail, store it, and transfer it to marine vessels. In April 2015, the City of Vancouver opted to require a full EIS for the project. The Vancouver City Council approved a six-month moratorium on expanding crude oil facilities (a moratorium they subsequently extended through the summer of 2015), but NuStar had submitted a pre-application for permits just one day before the rule was passed, making its proposal exempt.</p>
<p><strong>Tesoro: Vancouver Energy Distribution Terminal (Vancouver, WA)</strong></p>
<p>The Port of Vancouver began talks with backers of this project in February 2013, and in July 2013 it unanimously approved the development of what would be the biggest oil-by-rail facility in North America. Tesoro had initially expected to complete the project in 2014 at a cost of $100 million, but after repeated delays and fierce local opposition, it increased the estimate to $190 million by May 2014. Subsequent news reports indicated that the estimated cost had risen to $210 million, and the company now admits that operations are not scheduled to start until 2016 at the very earliest—and that projection is probably wildly optimistic.</p>
<p>Observers believe that a draft EIS will be available in November 2015, with a public comment period to follow. After that, state regulators will draft a final review of the project and then make a recommendation to Washington Governor Jay Inslee, who will decide the project’s fate. Even then, the decision could be appealed to the Washington State Supreme Court.</p>
<p>Tesoro anticipates that construction of the facility will take six to nine months after it is approved, but approval is not at all certain. One analyst described progress on the terminal as “incredibly slow” and gave it less than a 50 percent chance of gaining approval. Tesoro has publicly expressed disappointment at the timeline and review process of the state’s regulators.</p>
<h3><strong>Propane by Rail</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Pembina Pipeline: Propane Export Terminal (Portland, OR)</strong></p>
<p>Pembina Pipeline initially contacted the Port of Portland around April 2014, and the parties signed an agreement in August of that year. In announcing the agreement, Pembina officials said they anticipated beginning operations at the new propane export terminal in early 2018. The project needed building permits from the city, as well as an air quality permit and possibly a water quality permit from the state.</p>
<p>The company applied for approval from the Portland Planning Commission to construct a pipeline crossing public land near the Port and received it in April 2015. But just as the project looked certain to win approval from the Portland City Council, Portland Mayor Charlie Hales, formerly a backer of the project, publicly voiced his opposition. In June 2015, he refused to put the proposal on the City Council agenda.</p>
<p>Pembina continues to push the project and posted marketing materials on its website in June 2015.</p>
<p><strong>Haven Energy: Propane and Butane Export Terminal (Longview, WA)</strong></p>
<p>In April 2014, the Port of Longview announced a one-year option agreement with Haven Energy to explore a proposed propane and butane rail terminal. Haven expected construction to take 21 months after the approval of a lease and permits. But after the Port Commission considered the scope of the proposal, it delivered a 3-0 rejection in March 2015. The commissioners’ votes bucked the Port chief executive’s recommendation to approve the project. They were clearly responding to the primarily negative feedback they received at a public hearing, as well as other concerns raised by some labor and environmental advocates. What’s next for the thin green line?</p>
<p>The next year may prove the most challenging yet in the contest between big energy companies and Northwest communities. In Washington, officials will weigh plans for at least five oil-by-rail terminals and two major coal terminals, while British Columbia’s leaders evaluate a third coal terminal and at least one of two large crude oil pipelines.</p>
<p>Plus, another fight is brewing, one that is in evidence in both BC and Oregon, but that we did not cover here: the natural gas industry’s plans to construct at least six new export pipelines and liquefaction sites from Prince Rupert to Coos Bay. Although Cascadia has so far proved largely resistant to these plans, the outcomes of each project remain highly uncertain.</p>
<p>Finally, it is likely that in 2015 and 2016, the Northwest will face yet another tsunami of export schemes as new developments in the energy industry make available light hydrocarbon fuels and petrochemicals in unprecedented volumes. The defunct propane-by-rail proposals at Longview and Portland were the leading edge of this wave, and these projects may wash up in different locations. This trend will also include a new xylene processing unit at an Anacortes refinery, new methanol refineries in Oregon and Washington, a so-called biorefinery at Longview, and other projects not yet in public view.</p>
<p>Though each project proposal is unique, they observe a few fundamental similarities: they represent a transformation of an environmental leadership region into a globally consequential center for shipping carbon fuels. Sitting squarely astride the most economical and, in some cases, the only possible path from the vast energy reserves in the interior of North America to the world’s fastest growing energy markets in Asia, decisionmakers in the Northwest are in an unprecedented position. To a large extent, Cascadia now will call the shots for the western coal industry, huge swaths of fracked oil and gas development, and Canadian tar sands extraction—to say nothing of the global climate implications of unleashing five Keystone XLs’ worth of carbon fuels into foreign markets.</p>

<p>The Congress of Racial Equality, or CORE, is best known for its pathbreaking role in organizing acts designed to confront and end apartheid in America, from the Freedom Rides throughout the South to the pivotal March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in 1963.</p>
<p>Now the group — or what’s left of it — protests against black protesters.</p>
<p>Roy Innis, who took control of CORE in 1968, dramatically transformed the group’s mission from racial integration to black separatism — and eventually to lobbying on behalf of corporate interests and the police state.</p>
<p>His son, Niger Innis, now the group’s spokesperson, appears on Fox News and other conservative media outlets throughout the country denouncing Black Lives Matter and claiming to be a representative of the civil rights movement. Discussing the one-year anniversary of the police killing of Michael Brown on a television program on August 11, for instance, Niger Innis <a href="http://www.newsmax.com/Newsmax-Tv/Niger-Innis-Bernie-Kerik-Ferguson-protests/2015/08/11/id/669644/" rel="nofollow">called Black Lives Matter</a> protesters a “bunch of vultures coming in from places like New York and California” who came to Ferguson only to cause trouble.</p>
<p>Modern civil rights advocates, for their part, bristle at the media platform given to CORE. “Mainstream media uses these groups in an attempt to denounce the importance of police reform and accountability in the wake of the shooting deaths of numerous unarmed black people across this country,” Nekima Levy-Pounds, a Black Lives Matter activist and law professor at the University of St. Thomas, told The Intercept.</p>
<p>CORE, she said, now provides rhetoric that “reinforces a white supremacist view” of Black Lives Matter. CORE did not respond to a request for comment.</p>
<p>During the August 11 program, Niger Innis derisively compared the confrontational tactics of Black Lives Matter protesters to the Black Panthers, claiming that such strategies were rejected by his father, who Niger said sought reform only through proactive solutions. “The only thing that my father was protesting in those days was that he wanted more blacks on the police force,” Innis chuckled.</p>
<p>But Niger Innis’s portrayal of his father obscures a history that is far more complex. The Intercept compiled a history using primary source documents and investigative reports largely from Jet, the New York Times and New York magazine.</p>
<p>Roy Emil Alfredo Ennis was born in the Virgin Islands and immigrated to New York when he was in 13. Roy, who joined CORE after seeking to date a member of the organization, slowly began working his way up the leadership ranks. As the assistant to CORE leader Floyd McKissick, Roy Innis traveled the country, helping CORE — which at the time was an integrated, nonviolent civil rights group seeking an end to racial discrimination — set up new chapters.</p>
<p>In the years preceding Innis’s rise to leadership, CORE played an instrumental role in some of the most storied events in civil rights history. The group partnered with the NAACP to mobilize Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s March on Washington, as well as the Freedom Summer campaign in Mississippi. Many members, both white and black, faced police and vigilante violence. Three young CORE members were murdered by Klan supporters in Philadelphia, Mississippi.</p>
<p>Indeed, CORE has been in the news in recent months because of the interest in Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who was a leader of CORE in Chicago in the early 1960s, and was arrested in college for participating in a protest of segregation in Chicago public schools.</p>
<p>The year 1968 brought new challenges and tragedy. On April 15, a postal worker shot and killed Innis’s son, Roy Jr., allegedly because he was bothered by the noise the boy was making outside of his apartment. The previous week, Dr. King had been assassinated in Memphis.</p>
<p>The turmoil following the death of King turned the tide on simmering divisions within CORE, with many claiming that they now distrusted the so-called <a href="http://books.google.com/books?id=CKFlirjb2EAC&pg=PA94&dq=accommodationist+CORE+black+nationalist&hl=en&sa=X&ei=OR2NU_7nI9CxoQSQlIGoAw&ved=0CGEQ6AEwCA#v=onepage&q=accommodationist%20CORE%20black%20nationalist&f=false" rel="nofollow">“accommodationist” approach to nonviolence</a>. The previous two years had seen a number of CORE chapters breaking away from the vision of CORE founder James Farmer, who sought an inclusive approach for ending racial segregation and discrimination in society.</p>
<p>In June 1968, a slate of Black Nationalist leaders won election to the leadership of CORE with Innis <a href="http://books.google.com/books?id=JXx2MyQaagUC&pg=PT68&dq=%22roy+innis%22+elected+1968&hl=en&sa=X&ei=tuCQU5950PegBP2SgPgI&ved=0CFEQ6AEwCA#v=onepage&q=%22roy%20innis%22%20elected%201968&f=false" rel="nofollow">as the new CORE chairman</a>. Declaring the traditional civil rights era over, Innis changed the CORE constitution to ban white people from the organization, <a href="http://books.google.com/books?id=vXHbAAAAQBAJ&pg=PA50&lpg=PA50&dq=%22roy+innis%22+elected+chairman+of+core+1968&source=bl&ots=fjYmI0E_tr&sig=rL0DDou7bYSXwVZO3fRmNGDxrkM&hl=en&sa=X&ei=9RuNU96MCsf9oASu4oLgDQ&ved=0CFoQ6AEwBQ#v=onepage&q=%22roy%20innis%22%20elected%20chairman%20of%20core%201968&f=false" rel="nofollow">and explained</a> that the change reflected “an era of Black Nationalism.” Innis also called for separate schools for African American children.</p>
<p>As Innis began to openly embrace Black Nationalism, he also began his pivot to the right. Just before he became the national CORE chair, <a href="http://books.google.com/books?id=_Ycb0K1owawC&pg=PA119&lpg=PA119&dq=roy+innis+nixon+novak&source=bl&ots=ug5QkGzh0e&sig=4-q0tghCnICvR2Oh48iyGuppLks&hl=en&sa=X&ei=L-WQU4WFPNGxoQTQroHoBQ&ved=0CCIQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=roy%20innis%20nixon%20novak&f=false" rel="nofollow">Innis met covertly</a> with Richard Nixon. Innis, according to an account from conservative journalist Robert Novak, worked to align community support for Nixon so he could one day serve as the “President’s man in the ghetto.” Nixon would go on to endorse a vision of “black capitalism.”</p>
<p>Lawyers from Nixon’s law firm even helped CORE <a href="http://books.google.com/books?id=09oDAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA176&lpg=PA176&dq=core+self+determination+innis+bill+1968&source=bl&ots=8puB1blkWa&sig=6vUw1UL-WiWb2j3zF7CinOazjkI&hl=en&sa=X&ei=rFOSU8aCF4iMyAT8pICgDg&ved=0CEwQ6AEwBA#v=onepage&q=core%20self%20determination%20innis%20bill%201968&f=false" rel="nofollow">draft proposed legislation</a> providing economic support for African American-owned businesses.</p>
<p>Open support for the Republican ticket was difficult, but Innis’s comments in the press made his leanings clear. On “Meet the Press,” Innis did not explicitly endorse a candidate for president, but said, “I praise Nixon when he said that black nationalism is relevant.”</p>
<p>The Innis effort was part of a multifaceted attempt by the Nixon campaign to peel off black support from the Democratic Party. The White House tapes reveal conversations between Nixon and his aides about efforts to recruit and fund black presidential candidates with a “fourth party” during the 1972 election. His operatives privately referred to one such plan as “Operation Coal.”</p>
<p>The Nixon election victory in 1968, which markedly increased the GOP share of the black vote compared to the Barry Goldwater election in 1964, did not result in any appointments or official support for Innis.</p>
<p>Instead, the 1970s became a period of great drift for CORE, which continued down a path of militant Black Nationalism.</p>
<p>In 1972, Innis became the American consigliere for Ugandan strongman Idi Amin. As Jet reported, Innis developed programs to bring skilled American workers to help with Amin’s fledgling government. He also supported Amin’s brutal crackdown on non-Africans, including the decision to expel 80,000 people of Asian descent from Uganda. In a telegram, <a href="http://books.google.com/books?id=FHQDAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA15&dq=roy+innis+idi+amin+asians&hl=en&sa=X&ei=3WKSU8_pCI72oAS9rYDwCA&ved=0CDIQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=roy%20innis%20idi%20amin%20asians&f=false" rel="nofollow">Innis said</a> he “supports in spirit and fact” the deportation decision, calling Uganda “the ancestral homeland of African people [which] must operate first and foremost for the development of African people.”</p>
<p>Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Innis fought off a number of attempts to oust him from the leadership of CORE. One lawsuit accused him of mishandling CORE’s finances. Former CORE leaders James Farmer and Floyd McKissick claimed that Innis had used CORE funds for “trips to Europe and Africa, prize fight tickets, lavish furniture, living expenses for themselves and estranged wives, and rent for personal living quarters.” <a href="http://books.google.com/books?id=b0IDAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA13&dq=roy+innis+1978&hl=en&sa=X&ei=Z2SSU8iGMcfZoATIpoLYDQ&ved=0CE4Q6AEwBw#v=onepage&q=roy%20innis%201978&f=false" rel="nofollow">In response</a>, Innis charged that the lawsuit was a “racist … political cheap trick.” In 1980, a group of dissident CORE leaders voted in a new leader, Waverly Yates, head of CORE’s Washington affiliate, but Innis refused to hand over the chairmanship.</p>
<p>In 1986, the IRS fined Innis $56,000 in back taxes plus $28,000 in civil fraud penalties because of $116,000 in unreported income from CORE in the mid-1970s, which he allegedly spent on ”travel, apartment rent, jewelry, furniture, entertainment, and other personal items.”</p>
<p>As the years went on, Innis’s political agenda drifted to open support for the Republican Party, and he played a major role in the debates on crime and gun control. He openly campaigned for Ronald Reagan, and ran against New York Mayor David Dinkins for the mayoral Democratic primary in 1993. Also that year, CORE founder James Farmer declared, “CORE has no functioning chapters; it holds no conventions, no elections, no meetings, sets no policies, has no social programs and does no fund-raising. In my opinion, CORE is fraudulent.”</p>
<p>As Niger Innis recounted on a 2013 appearance with AACONS, an African American online radio program, his father’s support for police organizations and Rudy Giuliani <a href="http://www.blogtalkradio.com/aacons/2013/05/29/interview-with-niger-innis" rel="nofollow">paved the way</a> for the stop-and-frisk programs that Niger Innis claimed have reduced urban crime. “Part of the partnership” between community groups and law enforcement, Niger Innis said, “is criminal profiling, not racial profiling.”</p>
<p>Over the last 25 years, CORE has morphed almost completely into an organization that lends African-American support to causes linked to its corporate donors. As <a href="http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2005/05/black-gold" rel="nofollow">Mother Jones reported</a> in 2005, CORE took money from Monsanto and mobilized opposition to regulations on Monsanto products. After receiving $40,000 in contributions from ExxonMobil, CORE organized protests in support of ExxonMobil at its shareholder meeting. With funds from the National Rifle Association, of which Roy Innis is now a board member, CORE has filed amicus briefs claiming that gun control laws stem from racism in society.</p>
<p>Niger Innis now simultaneously works as a Tea Party leader and CORE’s chief spokesperson, and is a frequent speaker at conservative events. “My organization, the Congress of Racial Equality, fought side by side with Dr. King and Americans of all colors,” Niger Innis declared at an Americans for Prosperity-organized event in Wisconsin. “For my well-paid brothers at the NAACP,” he intoned, “if you’re looking for a racist at this crowd, he’s right here! … I am a racist and a racial partisan for the human race!”</p>
<p>Last year, Niger Innis ran an unsuccessful campaign for Congress as a Republican in Nevada.</p>
<p>And these days, Roy and his son Niger are favorites of the conservative movement. Presenting a prize to Roy Innis at the CPAC convention in 2010, NRA president Wayne LaPierre called him “a real American hero, his story should be taught in every American school and it should be admired by every patriot.”</p>

<p>Electric <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/gab_gallery/clever-commercial-for-electric-cars/">cars</a> are an idea that could radically change the impact that we have on the environment when we travel, but there are currently a few limitations that are preventing these cars from reaching their full potential in the global market. The main issue that these cars have had is the fact that many of them don’t hold a charge long, and there are very few charging stations.</p>
<p>This forces <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/3d-printed-electric-car-unveiled-at-auto-show/">electric car</a> owners to carefully plan out their trips to avoid running out of energy and breaking down. The price of the cars have also been an issue for most people, but as with all technology, the price is steadily declining as the manufacturing process becomes more efficient.</p>
<p>The power issue may actually be solved very soon also if a new idea tested later this year in the UK ends up working. The new project actually involves electromagnetic roads, that charge the vehicle as it travels, cutting out the need for <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/bmw-to-only-produce-electric-vehicles-within-10-years/">charging stations</a>. The technology is in the middle of an 18-month test period, which will decide if the project is suitable for public roads.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, the drawback to this project is that it is <a href="http://www.trueactivist.com/government-funded-study-says-conspiracy-theorists-are-dangerous-and-could-join-isis/">controlled by the</a> government, and funded by their stolen tax money, but an innovation of this nature could inspire more pure efforts to take place in other parts of the world.</p>
<p><em>“The potential to recharge low emission vehicles on the move offers exciting possibilities. The government is already committing £500 million over the next five years to keep Britain at the forefront of this technology, which will help boost jobs and growth in the sector. As this study shows, we continue to explore options on how to improve journeys and make low-emission vehicles accessible to families and businesses,”</em> <a href="http://www.boredpanda.com/electric-car-charge-road-highways-england/">Transport Minister Andrew Jones said in a statement.</a></p>
<p>Highways England Chief Highways Engineer Mike Wilson added that, “<em>Vehicle technologies are advancing at an ever increasing pace and we’re committed to supporting the growth of ultra-low emissions vehicles on our England’s motorways and major A roads. The off road trials of wireless power technology will help to create a more sustainable road network for England and open up new opportunities for businesses that transport goods across the country.”</em></p>
