“I’ll take the chocolate bar,” says one woman as Dice tells her, “who needs a 10-ounce bar of silver, right?” as the woman physically recoils from it. 
Another man responds, “Yeah, exactly!” when Dice asks “Who needs a 10-ounce bar of silver when you can have a good delicious bar of chocolate, right?” 
“The Hershey bar, I can eat it, I can’t eat the silver bar,” remarks another man as he chooses the chocolate over the bullion. 
This isn’t the first time Dice has tested Americans’ concept of ‘real money’. In a previous video (below), he attempted to sell the 10oz silver bar for as little as 99 cents, with no takers.

Bermuda Triangle: Ship Reappears 90 Years After Going Missing

The Cuban Coast Guard had announced, that they had intercepted an unmanned ship heading for the island, which is presumed to be the SS Cotopaxi, a tramp steamer which vanished in December 1925 and has since been connected to the legend of the Bermuda Triangle.
 
The Cuban authorities spotted the ship for the first time on May 16, near a restricted military zone, west of Havana. They made many unsuccessful attempts to communicate with the crew, and finally mobilized three patrol boats to intercept it.
When they reached it, they were surprised to find that the ship was actually a nearly 100-year old steamer identified as the Cotopaxi, a name famously associated with the legend of the Bermuda Triangle. There was no one on board and the ship seemed to have been abandoned for decades, suggesting that this could actually be the tramp freighter that disappeared in 1925.
An exhaustive search of the ship led to the discovery of the captain’s logbook. It was, indeed, associated with the Clinchfield Navigation Company, the owners of the SS Cotopaxi, but hasn’t brought any clue concerning what happened to the ship over the last 90 years.
On 29 November 1925, the SS Cotopaxi departed Charleston, South Carolina, and headed towards Havana, Cuba. The ship had a crew of 32 men, under the command of Captain W. J. Meyer, and was carrying a cargo of 2340 tons of coal. It was reported missing two days later, and was unheard of for almost 90 years.
The Vice President of Council of Ministers, General Abelardo Colomé, announced that the Cuban authorities were going to conduct a thorough investigation to elucidate the mystery of the ship’s disappearance and reappearance.
“It is very important for us to understand what happened” says General Colomé. “Such incidents could be really bad for our economy, so want to make sure that this kind of disappearance doesn’t happen again. The time has come to solve the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle, once and for all.”

Popular culture has attributed many of the disappearances to paranormal and <a href="http://ift.tt/1HhHVTh">supernatural phenomena</a>, or to the activity of extraterrestrial beings. One explanation, even pins the blame on leftover technology from the mythical lost continent of Atlantis.
Despite the popularity of all these strange theories, most scientists don’t even recognize the existence of the Bermuda Triangle, and blame human mistakes and natural phenomena for the disappearances.
The mysterious reappearance of the SS Cotopaxi has, however, already generated a lot of interest in the scientific community and could push some experts to change their mind on the subject.

It’s been a crazy few days for <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1Mh7o0y;%20target=">Greece</a>, with the people’s decision to reject further bailouts and austerity measures making history last Sunday (full story <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1dNnl2o;%20target=">here</a>). The hero of the hour is <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1CqR1i3;%20target=">Greece</a>‘s ex-finance minister Yanis Yanoufakis, who was forced to resign after winning the referendum result he had been fighting for these past few months. His reason? Shady, un-named international creditors refuse to negotiate with <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1Mh7o0A;%20target=">Greek</a> Prime Minister Tsipras further unless Yanoufakis leaves the party. With his radical suggestions of debt re-structuring and his rejection of the idea that the poorest in society should pay a private debt, Yanoufakis was a thorn in the side of the establishment. 
In this RT video clip from a press conference last month, Yanoufakis shows why the people respect him so much. When verbally attacked by a <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1CqR0uo;%20target=">German</a> politician who accuses him of being irresponsible for refusing more bailout cash (to pay back old bailout cash, and so on until infinity), Yanoufakis calmly, patiently and intelligently tells the man why he is absolutely wrong about everything. 
THIS is why no country’s citizens should accept bailout money without seriously considering the consequences. Yanoufakis, an economist, manages to explain the reality in a simple and persuasive way. He uses the German politician’s own logic against him and finishes with an emotional call to unite Europe and find a sustainable solution for the future: 
“We are Europeans, we should have an alliance based on logic: looking after your taxpayers, looking after my taxpayers. I want [the economy] to grow faster so as to be able to repay you, and that is a project that we should sit down and agree on together if you want your taxpayers to be paid. We are a proud people; we do not like having debts that we don’t repay. But we simply cant find the 312 billion euros that we owe. Help us grow so that we can repay. This is what a union is.” 
The audience at the press conference applaud loudly, and Yanoufakis finishes with a bright idea for Europe which until now is nothing more than a crazy left-wing pipe dream. But it makes sense. “You have this magnificent industry,” Yanoufakis tells the <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1Mh7ogQ;%20target=">German</a> minister. “And you should be proud of that. <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1CqR1i5;%20target=">Germany</a> is always going to have a surplus [of trade]. Your surpluses could fund investment projects in Greece in <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1Mh7ntA;%20target=">Italy</a> or wherever, from which the Germans benefit, which are sustainable, and don’t create bubbles which then burst creating problems for your taxpayers, my taxpayers and the whole of Europe. We are a union of social values. we should be in this together.” 
There is very little to argue with there. This clip is a great one to share with people who just don’t get the <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1CqR1i3;%20target=">Greek</a> government’s position: it’s not about running away from their debts, it’s about dealing with the debt in a way that causes the least amount of suffering and the optimum economic growth for the country. Like other maverick economists Paul <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1CqR0uq;%20target=">Krugman</a> and Joseph <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1Mh7ogS;%20target=">Stiglitz</a>, Yanoufakis’s economic policies make perfect sense- unlike those of the <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1CqR0us;%20target=">crooks</a> and robbers running our global <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1IKPvZ6;%20target=">financial</a> <a _blank="" href="http://ift.tt/1dNnl2q;%20target=">institutions</a>.
